Development Update #12

Hello guys! Patreon just updates its user interface, but it's still weird to write stuff here!


Anyway, today is a good day, and I have something to tell you guys.


First of all, personal life updates:

I deleted lots of important stuff from my computer for no reason! Yes, since Windows 10 does not ask if you want to put something on the trash can, I accidentally deleted a lot of important files (the entire documents folder), and that included stuff for this game. However, since I'm a bad guy I spent twelve hours checking my trash can with Recuva and was actually able to recover 85% of it, including the important stuff, so I'm happy now.


That being said, remember: Every time you want to empty your trash folder, check on it first, and get this clue and activate the checkbox for windows to actually ask if you want to delete something if you press delete.


Now that you guys understand how dumb I can be, I hope this can make your days better by feeling smarter than I, haha haha ha...


Anyway, now about the game:


Like I said before, the day structure changed:

First, you have the first day, in this day you can have a maximum of two points with a character.

Then, you have the rest of the game, the part that's really big.

Day two have three parts that I call acts for no reason, every act has two sets of answers with three or four answers that can go from F- to S+. 

So, you can actually lose 2 or more points or gain more of two points in the game, so it will be complex as the days go by, not for you guys but for me, there's a lot of math on this. I'll get there.


The other days can also have one more act (the 4th act) if I feel it's necessary, and then there's the 1st encounter and the  2nd encounter every day. The first is triggered if you never knew the character you're going to talk, and the second if you know him. This will make you be able to get to know each character without having strange conversations with him. 


So, we have Three or four acts, and of course, we have a start act that will check if you know or not the character before sending you to the new route, then we have the first and second encounters route. We also have the PLOT route, this one will be simple however it needs to be good because it's here where the character development will happen. 


But that's not all! You know, the 1 - 4 acts are actually what I call the B route. Because you will ALWAYS trigger those dialogues if you have or not 0 points with the character. However, what happens if you have, let's say, ten or twenty points with Wagner? Well, then you will trigger every time you answer the correct question, what I call the A/S dialogues. That's what makes the day dynamic.


That means you can read more intimate or funny dialogues with that character since you have more affinity with him! But that makes the game actually pretty hard for me to write and code everything, so please be patient. A good game never happened from nowhere, and it takes time. 


So, here's the thing, I'm writing now the A and S dialogues after the data loss fiasco of the previous days. And what I'm going to show you guys is how much points you can have on each act. This is just a way to show you how much points you will need to trigger the A or S routes, but I will not tell what answers gives you those points, so you will need to try your best.

So here it is:


Second Day, Wagner:


The Plot route is not done yet, but you will need the Max amount of points to see the plot when the plot triggers, so the only way to check the character development will be by making a perfect route. However the plots are only for character development, and the Sex Scenes will be triggered if you answered at least 80% of the A questions in the game, so don't worry you will be able to read and check the fun stuff.


But, there will be a reward for the unlocking all the PLOT points with the character, so in the end game, you should be aware of that!


Anyway, this is just stuff for the future, for now, the next update I'll be including the A and S dialogs for Wagner's Second Day, then I'll be writing the plot. I'm really thinking if I should Add the plot only after I finish all the days so I can write everything at once, but I'll be checking this since I have Scrivener here, I can do this at once if I need.
