Roswell gray reveal + Devlog #126 + Alt costume poll #6 is on!

Roswell gray! Isn't she cute?! ^^
Her mods were Starts out flat, Stalker Vuu fangirl and Mad scientist.
Figuring out her design was definitely one of the weirder challenges so far. "Sexy" definitely isn't what come to mind when I think of gray aliens, and I was afraid giving her clothes would work against her gray alien-ness...!
In the end, I think showing a lot of leg is what mostly solved both of these issues ^^
It made sense to me to have her be especially tall and thin, So showing the legs makes sense. And since she still retains a certain amount of plumpiness and with her blouse working as a miniskirt of sorts, sexy was achieved!
I knew from the beginning I wanted to give her a huge egg like helmet, and after some experimentation I ended up figuring out a good face, head shape and the mini TVs by her side. Putting the eyes lower and no giving her a mouth were a good way to make her feel more alien as well ^^
She also got the Vuu fangirl mod, but just like for Hydra a while back, I chose to make this an alt costume instead! That part was a lot of fun.
Once again Bee is the one who drew the final illustration, and a bunch of small pose and design elements were improved thanks to him! The little on screen Vuu and the Vuu plushie are so much cuter than what I had in mind too :B

Once again, this is going to be a small sized devlog since this was a fully art focused month!
For the most part I was free of IRL stuff this month, so I was able to fully focus on drawing more chibi BE. I'm now very proficient at chibi booba, I have it all figured out! Over half of them are actually finished now and most of the tougher ones are taken care of. Kobold in particular turned out to be very difficult. Her clothes are fairly more detailed than most, and I needed to give her not only boob edits, but hips/butt edits too! And she's got some unconventional poses as well, meaning more unique sprites. I got through it though, and now the ones left are all mostly on the easy side.
I'm currently working on Lamia! You might remember that she got a redesign some time ago, and that she now has a version with and without her cardboard box. Of course, this had to be reflected on the chibi sprites too. If you choose the Alt costume without the box, she'll have some pretty different sprites! Very happy with the result. With the base boxed and unboxed versions taken care of, all that's left to do for her is some boob and butt variations now ^^
Additionally, a couple other chibi 3D model were commissioned. So all is going well on that front

I will need to take a couple weekends away from BEW again this month for the same IRL reasons as before, but my move is getting closer and closer, so you can look forward me not bringing it up every devlog anymore! :B

As I mentioned before, the polls this time will be an Alt costume poll and the very first Illustration poll. We'll start with the one that's easier to set up for me today, the Alt costume poll, where you can vote for any of the BEW characters to get an Alt costume.
After it ends, the Illustration poll will start. This one will determine the content of one of the promised illustrations (https://www.patreon.com/posts/92329570) based on a theme, which for this first one is [Sexy], and modifiers submitted by patrons. You can find more info and submit modifiers such as poses, characters, angles, outfits and more in the Discord server!
The illustrations will be viewable in game to be clear ^^

Speaking of illustrations, a new Patreon threshold was reach earlier this month: $3200!
I know the current amount is just a tad below now, but a reached threshold is reached forever, which means we now have a total of 20 unlocked illustrations, as well as 15 unlocked Alt costumes!!!

To be honest, I'm getting a bit antsy about getting back into coding. All of this art work is inevitable for the next big update, but still, I really want to get back into it!
Though I say that, but it might be a good idea to design some more characters soon all things considered... We'll see.
By the way, I'll show off some of the chibis I've been working on next time instead of a character reveal! I hope you'll look forward to them ^^

Alt costume poll rules:

The next Alt costume poll has begun! You can now vote in the Discord server if you are a patron!
As the name implies, Alt costume polls determine which characters should get a secondary costume.
The first round of the poll will be active until the 5th of this month. The second round will take place from the 6th to the 10th, and the last round will take place from the 11st to the 15th!

Illustration poll rules:

You can now submit an illustration modifier in the Discord server if you are a patron!
The outcome of this poll will determine what the illustration is about.
