My upcoming orc comic, The King & The Book Thief grew into a much bigger comic than I realized. What initially started out as a way to create a standard for the rest of my comics, ended up turning into an endless redrawing cycle for me. I let my dissatisfaction with my skills prolong this comic until it's impossibly perfect again. I want to change that.
Going forward, I'll be sharing the finalized pages of this comic in small batches of updates. Then, when I reach the end of a short story/chapter, I'll make a separate post with the entire spread of pages for easier reading. I'm hoping that doing this will remove my temptation to redraw a comic page in the future.
Of course, I'll still make separate posts sharing my WIPs, or concepts for the next project! I'll do my best to finish this and get back to completing the other comics!
Until then, I hope you all will enjoy how this comic is progressing!

I know there's some part of you that knows it, that looks at your own work and goes 'I fucking did that and it's awesome, I love it'. Please do your best to hear these voices and make them louder than the ones that make you doubt yourself π
