[Heads Up] Patreon Overhaul
Added 2020-11-01 12:35:17 +0000 UTCThere will be a poll coming up soon on regarding how I'll be overhauling my patreon to something more manageable. This mainly applies to my 5$ tier patrons since the biggest perk is suggesting and voting on a character or pairing for the next fan comic.
I never intended for each fan comic to go beyond 10 pages, but I have a tendency to get attached to the characters that I'm working on ;-;. So instead of feeling the need to sacrifice the quality of one comic for the sake of making the other one better, I'm considering overhauling my patreon to something more manageable but also still enjoyable for me.
It's not possible for me to do two comics at once with the way that I'm working right now, so I want to divide the work by prioritizing on doing one 10 page minimum comic per month. For example, this November I'll be working on last month's voted suggestion - King Shark x Constantine. Then on the next month, I'll be working on the orc comic - Enshrouded: Palace Secrets - along with a pinup of the most voted character/pairing from my 5$ tier patrons.
It will look something like this -
2020 November: Fan Comic (10 pages minimum)
2020 December: Orc Comic (10 pages minimum) + character/pairing pinup
2021 January: Fan Comic (10 pages minimum)
2021 February: Orc Comic (10 pages minimum) + character/pairing pinup
etc.
I'll be able to invest more time in making the story and drawings better, but if that idea doesn't get voted, then the other option will be for me to keep everything the same, but minimize my workload for both comics to about 4-5 pages for both the orc comic and community voted comic.
In other news to my 5$ tier patrons, starting now I'll be making the posts for suggesting and voting on the character/pairing for a pinup instead of a fan comic as a little test. I hope you guys will be okay with this change. I'm still figuring out how I'll be going about with the pinups, it will probably be just one drawing with no alts, I'm still not sure.
