人間蝋燭になるには / HOW TO TURN MYSELF INTO A HUMAN CANDLE

　人間蝋燭になるには、という空想にここ数年来ハマっています。私のpixiv投稿作品をご覧になっていただければおおかた察しは付くと存じます。

　私の好みの手法は、全身を融かした蝋で覆う方法です。私にとって、蝋固めプレイはWAMプレイの延長上にあるものであり、それゆえ、ロウソクに火を灯して溶けた蝋を肌に垂らすというただ熱くて痛いだけのプレイは楽しむ気になりません。だいいち身体全体を覆えないでしょう。

　でも、どのように実践すればよいのか、そこが悩みの種。私の描くイラストの中では蝋固めプレイ用の機械が登場しますが、現実に存在するかどうかといえばかなり怪しいですよね。それにそんな機械を開発することができるかどうか、どこに依頼すればいいのかといったことも見当がつきません。ですから人間蝋燭になるには純粋に手作業で行うことになります。

　では具体的にはどうやって行うのか。

　まずは手助けしてくれる仲間が必要です。一人では全身を蝋で覆うのが難しいですから、誰かの手を借りて塗ったり掛けたりしてもらわないといけません。そしてもちろん、ロウソクから人間に復活するときにも手を貸してもらうことになります。このほか、蝋を融かすための熱源の管理や、呼吸を維持しておいてくれる役割も担ってもらいたいです。

　次に必要なものは、もちろん蝋です。これは市販のパラフィンロウソクで事足ります。もちろんある程度大量に必要ですが。

　そして、蝋を融かすための器具が必要です。安全で安価に行うには、電気でもガスでも炭火でもよいのですが、お湯を沸かして湯煎で蝋を融かすのがいちばんです。

　そのほか、蝋を体に塗布するための器具や、周囲を汚さないようにするための敷物などさまざまな用具が必要ですが、ここでこまごまと書き記しても読むのが煩わしいだけでしょう。いずれpixivにイラストとして投稿しようと考えています。

　協力者や用具のほかに、もう一つ大事なことがあります。それは周囲環境の温度です。プレイする場所の温度が高いと蝋がなかなか固まってくれず、体に貼り付いてくれません。これではせっかくの固めプレイの醍醐味も半減してしまいます。プレイ場所をエアコンで涼しくするか、冬など気温の低い時期にプレイするなど、周辺の温度環境にも配慮するのが楽しい蝋固めプレイにつながります。

　こうして全身を蝋で固めたら、そのまま彫刻や燭台やシャンデリアとしてみんなの目の前に飾ってくれたら嬉しいです。

　……一つだけ悩ましいことが。トイレが我慢できなくなったらどうしよう。その段階で固めプレイ終了だなんて惜しすぎます！

I've been indulging myself into a fantasy making myself into a human candle. I believe you will easily find it when you see my artworks on pixiv.

My favorite method is covering my entire body with molten wax. In my consideration, wax encasement is an extension of wet-and-messy fun; having molten drips of wax onto the skin from a lit candle does not sound enjoyable at all to me. It is only hot and painful, and too little in amount to cover the entire body.

The problem is, however, it is not simple to bring it in practice. In my artworks there are some machines for wax encasement, but it is doubtful whether those kind of machines exist in reality. And it is even unclear whether a machine like that could be developed, or where you should make an order from. So handworking is the simplest way to make yourself into a human candle.

Okay now, how do you (or I) put it into practice concretely?

First of all, you need some folks to assist you. As it is difficult to cover your entire body with wax all alone, you need someone to help you daub and pour wax onto the body. And you need some helpers when you come back from a candle into a human being. And you would like them to manage the heater for melting wax or to keep your airway open and secure.

The next thing that is necessary is, naturally, wax. The paraffin candles sold in the stores will do the job sufficiently, though of course you need a certain amount of them.

And you need the heaters to boil water. To enjoy a wax ancasement fun inexpensive and safe, melt the wax on the hot water. The heat source should be fine with anything: electricity, gas, charcoal and what not.

You will still need other tools, such as spatulas for spreading wax onto the body or the sheets to cover the area, but I think it is too tedious for you to read through if I write down them all here. I consider drawing artworks about them and uploading them on pixiv.

There is on important thing to tell other than the helpers and the tools: the temperature around the area you are in. When the area temperture is high, the wax will take time to harden and stick over the skin poorly. This will give you the less fun in encasement. Consider the temperature, and keep the area cool with the AC, or put it into practice when it is colder, like in the winter, to have more fun while being encased in wax.

When you (or I) have encased yourself (or myself) completely in wax and are (or am) totally hardened, don't get out of the wax... and have them put yourself (or myself) in everyone's sight as being a statue, a candlestick or a chandelier. It will be a

great pleasure to you (or me).

...There is one thing that can cause a problem. How should I do if I feel like going to a washroom? It is just too fascinating to finish the wax encasement fun only because you have the nature's call!
