Does your game begin to feel sluggish the longer you play? It could be Social Bunny!

While playing the game I noticed how incredibly sluggish Sims became the longer I played, stopping after every action for soooo long. That is pretty unusual in my game.

Of course I had to know why and that's how I found out that Social Bunny is at fault. Even if you don't use Social Bunny it will still cause your game to slow down the longer you play 😱

It turns out that every Sim that spawns in the world is registered to post on Social Bunny, regardless if you or they use Social Bunny. And so the longer you play and the more locations you visit, the more Sims try to post on Social Bunny every 1 in-game hour per Sim. The game can get somewhat laggy this way and restarting it doesn't help.

✅ Anyway, I made a mod that fixes this issue. It prevents Sims that are not on Social Bunny from getting registered for posting on Social Bunny and cleans up all the Sims that already got registered but don't use Social Bunny.

You are not affected by this if you don't play with the High School Years expansion pack.
