Desert Stalker Steam release announcement
Added 2024-12-04 20:11:57 +0000 UTCHey everyone, this has been long overdue. This is a public post just to let everyone know that the beta is going to be uploaded on Friday the 6th.
After that phase, the release will go its usual path. Expect a big new event, open world content and a reworked early game (expect some scenes to be "expanded"...)
That said, the main reason for this post is...
Desert stalker will become available on Steam on 13.12.2024 for $ 17.99 !
We are still working hard to polish the game as much as we can, that's why the beta testing will be extended. Lots of potential bugs we need to fix.
I thought of saying "We hope you enjoy the next update" but I am confident that the wait will have been worth it. :)

Steam release is a fantastic achievement, especially given your game is a step above from most of the Visual Novels out there. Gonna buy it right when available, and I am hoping you will get the buyers - and revenue - that your long, long, long effort deserves. Keep up the great work. And keep going... I am hoping you already have a project in mind for when Stalker is finished!

So if you plan to sell the game for 20$ on steam you would need to sell it for the same price on itch.io to be allowed to provide a steam key.

2024-12-04 20:22:12 +0000 UTCSteam forbids us to sell keys outside of the platform itself unfortunately (as they need to approve any keys beforehand), but if there are ways without breaking the rules then we can explore it. Not sure if that will be possible though :/
