Happy New Year Crew!

I just wanted to thank you all for making the end of this year the most amazing of my life. Your encouragement and support has directly resulted in me achieving a lifelong dream of becoming a full time author, and I can't thank you all enough.
This week has been pretty light content-wise for which I apologies. I definitely took advantage of my newfound freedom to spend more time with my family over the holiday season. That being said, my new years resolution is to release at least three chapter a week next year. There will be a few light weeks when I have to work on the formatting and editing around release time for books, but I will try to keep three the minimum for the most part.
I am toying with the idea of creating a Patreon only story that I can sporadically release chapters for when I'm stuck on a Battlemaster's chapter. I'm thinking something super lewd with a less complex plot. I have a few ideas for this story and would like to know if you guys would be interested in a fun smut-heavy Patreon story, or if you'd all prefer I power through the sticking points and continue Battlemaster's without interruption.

I've been enjoying the extra family time, but I take my commitment to you guys and all my readers much more seriously than I ever took a civilian job. Just still working out scheduling kinks. I currently write in my living room. May have to clean out my old hobby room and make a legit office out of it so I can close the door lol.

Also I like to say I wish you and everyone else a good new year as well. I am really enjoying the story and as for something else I'm fine with whatever you come up with. 🤔🤓 Also trying to force yourself to write more than what you are wanting to do at the time is pretty stressful and like Dave and others have said I think it's better you just take your time. Have fun and on the patron side maybe something a little frivolous would be fun and entertaining and a good relaxing time. 🤔😎

2021-12-31 23:06:52 +0000 UTCRegarding the "other series": I think it's a great idea. Trying to "power through" will only make you more stuck, frustrated, and stressed. Setting a minimum word goal for every day, but not being strict about what it has to be about can be a really useful tool to get past writers block. It doesn't even have to be a coherent series, or even a different one. You could just write about what goes on in the nexus while he's out and about one day, the next day write about some random party trying to run the dungeon and getting super surprised at how much harder it is now. Or you could even have us chime in with various prompts about things that aren't directly related to the main story (like above). Then, who knows, that could lead to a whole new Plot line for you to write about.

2021-12-31 22:03:35 +0000 UTCMy advice is also not to tell us what you are trying to do regarding timing. Start under promising. Don't make your short term targets as public. It will also help you relax a little more as you won't have to worry about missing your self imposed deadlines. I would maybe also hold your content a bit (I know, it seems not as good for us, but holding it until a release time or release day would actually benefit us as we could form something of a routine.)

2021-12-31 21:41:54 +0000 UTCI’d suggest you try to get four done per week, but “bank” the extra. That way you can slowly build up a buffer for when life throws a wrench in. Lots of web authors do this (because it works🤗).
