Last Game of Friends of Book 1 : Heavy Five
Added 2020-11-28 09:06:57 +0000 UTCI've been a scifi nerd since I first stumbled across an old copy of the Foundation saga in my mother's bookshelf at 10. Since then I read everything scifi I could, exhausting first the bookshelf, then the local library, and eventually even the local gamer bookstore.
I've really enjoyed talking to Not Travis, who's a humble and smart creator with a real passion for her project; not just in terms of improving the game, but going as far as to rework large chunks of the existing game to bring it up to her current level. It's certainly a struggle I can emphasize with, having tinkered with the opening day a number of times as my skills in DAZ and AfterEffects have finally gotten to the point where what I saw in my mind is starting to match what I'm able to put down on screen.
Apart from Heavy Five, the big chunk of news is that the game has been submitted for Steam review (well, re-submitted... I got dinged on a number of small things, fixed them and resubmitted). In preparation for the Steam launch I've been adding 56 new achievements, some additional card backgrounds, and doing a full tuning pass to make more gem combinations a valid option. Once it's live on Steam I'll be doing a last public build, adding in the Kath House Kafe storyline, and maybe a final erotic scene with Katie and Bella.
