Politics & Pricing
Added 2025-10-27 16:20:18 +0000 UTCSigh. So, SNAP benefits are being cut and honestly, it’s disgusting. Thinking about it makes me want to cry.
So many of my disabled and elderly family members rely on SNAP to eat every day. They worked hard when they could, and they deserve that support. Everyone does.
I don’t usually get political on here, but I need to say this:
Even just a 10% financial shift from defense to social programs could eliminate hunger in the U.S. several times over. but no.
Instead, the U.S. is cutting funding that saves lives daily: feeding hungry kids, supporting disabled folks, and keeping families afloat with simple, cheap meals.
For perspective:
SNAP makes up about 1.4% of the federal budget which is roughly $120 billion a year.
The U.S. military costs around $850–900 billion a year.
Please, check on your friends and family. Donate or help where you can.
Even if you don’t receive SNAP, you will feel this.
And if you see someone pocketing formula or food out of desperation... look away. I mean that.
Food banks are going to collapse under this.
🫶 For my community
Because of all this, I’ll be adjusting things a bit here:
The $1 tier will now include all early access content even when completely new things are released.
The $3 tier will stay open for anyone who wants to support extra... it’ll include polls, behind-the-scenes updates, and extra pictures, but it’s entirely optional.
Please stay safe and prioritize your family first.
I’ll still be here making silly little mods when I can... but I know everyone’s income is going to take a hit.
We’ll get through this somehow. Together, I hope. 🩷

The hospital I work at is setting up an emergency fundraiser for the local foodbank and I’ve been encouraging others to donate to their local food bank as well. They need all the help they can get.
