Early Access is Back
Added 2025-08-23 14:59:04 +0000 UTCAfter seeing all the confusion, I want to make it super clear: EA’s official policy only prohibits permanent paywalls. Temporary early access periods for both new mods and updates have always been allowed as long as everything becomes free afterward. (I don't know why people are making up EA's TOU on the spot when I literally have a copy of it from them directly LOL.)
I’ve realized I can’t make everyone happy, but I can choose to be fair to my patrons while keeping everything public after a short period. People will literally complain about everything no matter what you do, so I’m sticking with what’s reasonable and sustainable.
Early access will be coming back exactly as before: short, fair, and always followed by a free public release for everyone. Thanks to everyone who supported me through all the noise. I really appreciate you. 💖
Plus, I’m adding an exclusive little gift for my $3 patrons as a thank-you, because they deserve it. :)

I’m on the free side but I sometimes make mods for another game, I’m just starting out and that game doesn’t update anywhere near as often as the sims so I can only imagine the work you do, the people fussing you out are ridiculous!! It takes so much time and effort for you to keep everything updated and sadly in our society time IS money, it’s so fair for you to get some compensation for you work weather there are new features or not. I can’t imagine maintaining all that you maintain! I hope the comments aren’t getting to you too much!
