2025-08-01 03:56:35 +0000 UTCthey have so many callbacks in this show, like the whistle, the peas, even down to the moms shoes… they don’t miss with the details 😭 yeah i’m with jeff, a lot of this stuff is so frustrating but that’s how it was back in those days sadly. gwansik chose his wife over his family, he never made her feel alone. it’s so sad seeing him in the 90’s in so much pain bc he had such a hard life 😭

Which back in the day fishing was one of the most dangerous jobs out there. And is still is till today. And some people die due to getting caught along the fishing net and some get injured due to the same reason and other reasons as well that are connected to fishing. And also one of the reasons there’re accidents like gwan sik’s could be because it’s normally dark outside while they’re fishing(as we can see when Gwan- Sik was going to work while he was saying bye to Ae- Sun and Geum- Myeong it was dark outside). Correct me if I’m wrong tho. But yea this is what I think! And also with the captain beating him up as well.
