2025-05-18 01:03:14 +0000 UTCthis is so random but if u watch brace citizen (it is a kmovie) yk quite a few of the cast (no spoilers👀) u will understand why there are no teachers in weak hero? power and hierarchies are a massive thing in korea and the powerful children or children of power parents do atrocious things as depicted in the movie but it is also a reality

Like yeah, Beom Seok had his issues but everyone else isn't a freaking mind reader and he chose to keep making worse choices without taking responsibilty for any of it. Si Eun *did* try to talk to him repeatedly and he shunned him. He was involved in cutting Suho's brakes, paying someone to beat him up which Si Eun being hospitalized, and then he did it AGAIN leading to Suho being in a coma. Before S2 came out, Netflix released a cut scene where Beom Seok was asking Instagram and Suho said he deleted it cause he didn't use it much or something and were actually like "Oh MaWd, wHy did ThEy cUt ThiS eXplAinS so MuCh! Suho is liar! Now I get why Beom Seok did what he did. I don't support it/I'm not saying it's right but I get it" And it's like y'all are really missing the point. My theory is Beom Seok idolized Suho and that's why he felt particularly fixated on his acceptance /show of acceptance and wanted to be closest to him. Kinda like delulu stans who get pissed when their idols date and break the fantasy they have of them. Obviously it's not exactly like the same since Suho did genuinely consider him a friend and they actually knew each other but there's some shades of it to me. Long post short: Beom Seok is an interesting and complex character haha
