But the AED pads we use are sticky patches that is placed immediately on the patient’s chest right after they stopped breathing or heart has stopped. The AED machine the pads are connected to will give prompts of when to clear the patient (step away from them), when to shock the patient, reads sinus rhythm and tell us if we still need to continue doing CPR. I want to assume doctors only use the hand devices (as you saw the doctor use in the show) if they are at an older hospital or for back up if they don’t have the updated AED machines with the sticky pads. Believe it or not, there are even some hospitals and clinics that still don’t have an electronic system to store patient documents either. All the paperwork is sitting on shelves easy for people to just grab from them by hand. That makes me nervous though. Because fires, floods and natural disasters can happen to the building. Which can cause the patients to lose all their medical history documents.

I always wondered if the time travel consequences would play out like Back to the Future (he gets erased), the MCU (branching timelines), or Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (everything plays out like it's supposed to, like he was always meant to go back in time) 😅 you'll figure out what path this one takes in due time lol You guys are doing great, don't worry! There's a lot to process and digest to begin with. Can't wait for you to discover other time travel kdramas (Mr. Queen [comedy] and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo [romance, drama] are a couple of great examples). Our main guy here is also in another kdrama, 18 Again, that has a similar feel and has a touch of fantasy, but no actual time travel. The main actor in that one is the dude from Sweet Home/The Glory. Also an excellent show 💯💯

The thing with the first love is that we, the audience, know it can’t be Yichan or Eungyeol because 1) We were told that Se Kyeong (the mom) goes to the U.S. (which we saw her do) and never comes back. Before she left we saw that she wasn’t interested in Yichan at all, and her and Eungyeol only met each other a few times and she wasn’t fond of him either given that their first interaction had him calling her “ahjumma” and talking about her biological father. So Eunyu (the daughter) is just unknowingly wasting her time going between the two of them because we saw that Se Kyeong wasn’t interested romantically in either one. What I don’t understand with Eunyu’s plan/thought process in this story, is that she’s telling herself that if she finds her mom’s first love she can change the future and prevent herself from ever being born by getting them together. But the problem with that is while she’s doing all of this, the real teenage Se Kyeong is still in the U.S. living her life. The only way to prevent herself from being born is to prevent her parents from getting together/married in the U.S. I don’t see how finding the first love in South Korea would prevent that when she would then have to figure out a way to get them on the same continent, not to mention there would be the issue of her mom probably thinking the guy has become insane because he’ll have memories with “Se Kyeong” and the real one won’t know what in the hell he’s talking about. It just doesn’t make sense. I don’t think she’s thought this plan through very well. Or like….at all.
