Yea the English dub can't do any justice. Only voice that makes sense in English is Levi. Other than that, it's like they're in a competition on which VA can outperform the other. So they cant have a natural conversation. They all sound like post college adults speaking with perfect annunciation exaggeration. And the echo in the titans is ridiculous.

Stick with Japanese boys trust 🙏🏻 the original va’s are untouched. Yuki Kaji f’ed up his vocal chords and was out for weeks during season 4 production because bro was putting his heart and soul into his role as Eren. Dub Armin and Eren sound like they have permanent sinus infections and want the whole world to know about it. Hange’s dub will give you an ear infection.

Im spanish, i dont see a lot of anime but when i see it i like to do it in original version because i dont like the spanish dub so much. But damn ive seen scenes of the english dub of aot and i think the voices are so good!! Props to the voice actors!

Nah I'd definitely be down for a dub rewatch lmao AOT dub is amazing with certain scenes being regarded to surpass or at least be on par with sub. Also, the English song is when jaw ymir wakes up after turning human again and looks up at sky with the galaxy colors. Also also, majority of aot soundtrack is in German. The Japanese vocalist sing in German. That's why these covers sound a bit different because these are actual German singers so the pronunciation is more fluent lol dope reaction as always!

aot is heavily german influence and most of the characters are white and mikasa was the only asian we saw inside the walls hence the song is originally german and a lot of places in aot sound german. you probably know this😭
