The only scene in a TV show to force a tear drop out of my eye. Couldn't control it, it just dropped. Seeing his head flying, and knowing this is AOT and AOT gives no fucks, I thought they straight up killed Eren and the rest was gonna be dealt with by everyone else

If he wants to end his own blood line he can do that but don’t force it on everyone else. Why should eldians have to go extinct because the world perceives them to be something they’re not yk?

2023-12-01 00:53:36 +0000 UTCHere's the thing - if it wasn't pointed out as a spoiler, it wouldn't be necessarily received as a spoiler (the way we all went into it, watching it live). At the time, one could always receive the openings and endings with a grain of salt, having tuned out all inputs, including a personal imagination that has to figure things out. Going into the series with a simple suspension of disbelief and openness to what's presented worked great.

He started writing/drawing it in 2009 & the manga of Attack on Titan ended April 2021. He has worked closely with both animation studios Wit & Mappa during the anime’s production which is why the writing of the show is so tight & great on multiple rewatches. To clarify: Zeke was able to snatch control & break the Vow because, although Eren is the Host of the Founding Titan, The Founder Ymir seems to default to Eldian Royal Blood. The workaround ended up backfiring on Eren. But there was no way to know that. This is maybe the first time the Founding Titan’s power has been outside the Royal Family & free of The Vow to Renounce War in over a 100 years. The next 2 episodes are Legendary.
