"Oh that's Galliard the sabertooth titan" ...they address him by his first name Porco..."Oh naw that's not him"....Me: 🥴 "Ohhhh Marcel was in line for the Jaw titan after Ymir"....the episode showing you something from the past well before Ymir bc obviously Reiner and everyone are kids. Me:😮💨.....Y'all theories are killing me slowly lol. I strongly feel there should be a recap discussion in the comment section or something bc the story is getting all misread 😩 Don't get me wrong it's all love glad to be here and enjoying y'all journey for sure, love your conversation around it...but gahdamn they be giving you the answers 🫠

2023-10-25 19:36:24 +0000 UTCmaybe you're overthinking on some part, that's why you get confused and lost. it was indeed annie following around kenny, she probably knew about the existence of a child (which is levi) and tried to play it off as if she was the kid, but she clearly missed a lot of key intels, and kenny certainly had already met levi longtime ago xD she really failed there.

My guess is that Ymir's Jaw Titan looked different for a couple reasons... 1 she just looks different, I think Porco and Marcel's Jaws look similar because THEY themselves look similar, being brothers and all. 2. Ymir was completely untrained unlike the Galliard brothers. That's probably why she had no hardening or real special abilities.

And they are so look alike. That makes me think " is it him? or him..." " wait, if he's Porco whatever, who is Galliad, then..." but they are not going to be kind with these names to us. We just have to memorize their full names and their appearances. So Marcell Galliad was the first Jaw titan -》(Yumir ate) Yumir the second -》 (Porco ate) Porco Galliad is the third. The names you guys have to remember will keep appearing on and on. I thought they were saying Falco, but no Porco. It's so confusing.

The trauma from Marcel dying to protect him, being scared to go back home and face the consequences of "failing" the mission, getting beat to a pulp by Annie. Reiner said "Reiner is dead, if we need Marcel I'll be him" and that is the moment he began to have two personalities so to speak. [EDIT] I also forgot to mention the trauma of wanting to be a successful warrior so that his family could become honorary Marleyans and then finding out his father wants nothing to do with him, and also finding out he wasn't supposed to be picked in the first place. But imagine all of this happened within a span of a week no wonder his head got messed up. It really makes you feel bad for them because they were also kids with their own issues basically being forced to fight in a war they had nothing to do with.

I think it would be way less confusing and the distinction between the voices is clearer. You can tell past and present easier. Anyway, the titans look different depending on who has them. They have similar builds, but they will be different. Like the Attack Titan looked similar to Eren’s Attack Titan, and when Grisha had it (when he killed the Reiss family) he was hairier and thicker.

Whoever eat titan shifter power, they will gain said power and can become human again. Just like Ymir->turn to pure titan -> ate marcel -> got Jaw Titan and turned to human again -> killed by Marley -> ate by Porco-> porco got Jaw and all Ymir’s memory You guys can pause and take your time to understand lol🤣

2023-10-25 02:41:10 +0000 UTCI’m glad! I was worried it was too wordy lol. Also! Jeff seemed to be a little confused as to why they didn’t go back to Marley after Marcel was eaten. Reiner wanted to be a ‘hero for humanity’ really bad so that’s one reason he wanted to continue the mission. Plus them going back without the Founding Titan and now without the Jaw Titan wouldn’t be good. They would most likely get eaten and replaced by someone else.

2023-10-25 02:11:42 +0000 UTCYes, so Porco is Galliard. Galliard is just Porco and Marcel’s last name. They are brothers. Marcel was eaten by Ymir. Ymir gained his powers. Then when Ymir decided to give herself up to Bertholdt and Reiner in S2, she was taken back to Marley and eventually eaten by Porco. Now why does Ymir’s jaw titan look different from Porco and Marcel’s jaw titan? Idk lol Also, that was Annie talking with Kenny. Remember their goal was to originally find the founding titan and now the Jaw Titan since Marcel was eaten. I believe she was following him to get information since Kenny was really close with the former King who had the founding titan power.

That's why she chose to come with Reiner and Bertholdt and said "I'm just returning what I stole." She was eaten by Porco, Marcel's brother. Porco or Pock is who they call Galliard. It's their last name, Marcel and Porco Galliard.
