Obviously the big thing in this episode is the events with Kite, but so much of the music in this episode is absolutely stellar and amazing. The Reason motif when Kite is handing over Gin's Hunter license, the tragic piano when Killua is fleeing Pitou with Gon, the music when Netero issues them the challenge against the assassins, the amazing song at the end when Killua and Gon are talking... just musically alone this episode is incredible. So many of the themes of the show are carried along through the songs featured in this episode.

There’s no pointless off topic banter or anything (since I’m solo) there’s no dead air. So I do consider my lengthy vids to be a bit different than most.

2024-06-13 00:52:12 +0000 UTCI think its something (that doesn't mean anything?) that Killua shrieked like a cat and in many times throughout the anime he is depicted as a cat (being sneaky, smart ass, etc) then here a real cat shows up and its almost like instantly he recognizes he's out of his league.

There's been a couple of variations since and this is like the fulfillment of the motif. So good. And the flashback track, Legend of the Martial Artist, is another one of the top HxH tracks.

Your reaction and analysis is the greatest I ever came accross on the internet for this anime, for a fan like me it is such a dream for this anime to be talked about in depth like this. I'm sure you can agree that hxh definitely deserves such analysis. I love how they cut out Kite's fight, for the shock factor in the end but also because it was not even a fight worth noting. The scale was just that unbalanced. This arc is so in depth I think it's not the last time it's going to be a 1.30h analysis. Great job man! Can't wait for the rest! Take care

If I could offer some personal feedback, I would've liked to see more of an elaboration on the psychological denial Gon may be going through. You mentioned "breaking points" and the Binolt/Gon similarities. I really enjoy when you theorise on how the show may develop going forward. In your full length you mentioned how Gon is light, however through the cinematography Gon was portrayed sitting in the dark while Killua himself was in light. I would've loved for you to elaborate and taken a deep dive on that particular aspect and how it may interrelate to your previous point's about Gon's psychology. Great analysis overall however, still a far cut above every other reaction channel. Keep up the great work.
