i honestly don't know how i feel about the ending w the bum seok, his dad and the goons not going to jail or really any additional retribition also not knowing what happened to pink pillow i felt like they focused more on introducing the next season to introduce the main webtoon. Pink pillow was the best character for me. I know he isn't in the original but i hope they bring him back even for him to be the one to release the video as he never consented to the cover up and then helping Si-uen.

If it helps for context in regards to some questions, how schools or the police handle things in SK is a bit different. Schools do have committees that will hold a hearing for bullying situations for kids involved, however the issue would be people actually reporting it or reporting the bullying, which is rare. When they outcast someone and bully them solely, they typically put them in situations where they are less likely to report. Also, because of the seriousness of bullying, if you accuse someone, you actually need to have proof or witnesses or potentially them victim, teacher or whoever makes the accusation can be sued for defamation. Its a sucky process and essentially probably most bullies get away with stuff unless super super harsh. Also juvenile laws in SK pretty much have it where for the most part like basically nothing would really happen to them anyway, at least from my understanding. Regarding paying off of the grandma. It's more like a settling. Essentially the family settled out of court under agreement no charges needed to be pressed. While his son wouldn't have probably gotten any jail or detention time, it would have made him look bad as a politician so cover up was way to go.

I highly recommend Move to Heaven (10eps) -OR- Prison Playbook (16eps) next. (Both on Netflix) These 2 kdramas are emotional rides with every single emotions known to man. They’re both so heartwarming and beautiful in their own way. The reason I’m recommending these 2 because I think you guys would really enjoy it, rather than I want to see your reaction to it. What's really messed up about this was that I'm pretty sure this was Si Eun's first little group of friends and for it to turn out like this was heartbreaking. And the things about his parents is that he feel distant and disconnected because if you remember first childhood flashback, he overheard them talking about how it's hard raising kids and how they thought kids just take care of themselves. Throughout the little appearances of the mom, she's constantly saying how she never worries about her son since he does well on his own. They practically left him alone all the time and that showed in how he doesn't react that much and didn't interact with anyone until pink pillow and mandark. This was a rollercoaster! I binged it when they dropped all 8 episode and was not expecting things to turn out like this at all!!! Si Eun's hunt for the bullies was so badass, but by the end he was so emotionally drained and heartbroken. Whats makes me mad is that his fighting clearly isn't over and he's kind of back to square one. I'm hoping that Soo Ho makes a full recovery and I hope the older cousin (the drug dealer) teams up with them to fuck these bullies up!!

For next drama recommendations I would like to go with Flower of evil thriller/crime/romance Revenge of others suspence/crime/ revenge It's okay not to be okay romance/suspense ( also deals with mental health) At a distance Spring is Green ( which also has Park Jihoon as a main lead) - this one is more of a slow burn angsty and melo show but I really think it's a great series with Jihoon's amazing acting as well

Y'all have to watch D.P. its a mini drama about issues in Korean military. Stranger is drama on the corruption with prosecutors and police. Crash Landing- south Korea and North Korea difference, type romance. Hometown Cha Cha is healing romance drama in a small town away from the city. Twenty five Twenty one is a romance friendship about young love and how life affects it. Start up is friendship romance dreams drama. Itaewon class really puts out on issues in South Korea it is unique and inspiring group of people. Vincenzo is a crime/law comedy hilarious at times but very emotional at others. Big Mouth is also a prison/political drama that will have you theorizing what is real and who is who. Hotel Luna is about a hotel for the dead that don't want to leave so they assist with getting closure. Fight for my way a comedy about a group of friends struggling in life not living their dreams, it has some iconic moments. Finally Goblin the lonely guardian is romance drama with grim reaper a guardian of souls who is cursed until he finds love.

Based on your current tastes, I recommend the following series : "Vagabond" is an action thriller with great fighting scenes and stunts. The series has a bit of everything, but it's mainly action and intrigue based on a tragedy (a plane crash). "Mouse" is a dark thriller, it's dark and heavy, honestly it's a good series about psychopaths that asks the question "what if we could identify them in advance?". I think you would love the characters and the plot. Here, I hesitate between two series, one called "Insider" and another "Big Mouth". Both are about men going to jail, the difference is that "Insider" is full on darker thriller, dealing with gambling and secret undercover mission, while "Big Mouth" is more fictional and dramatic, with surreal scenes and more humor/romance. "Insider" is about a man who voluntarily goes undercover in a prison while "Big Mouth" is about a man who is wrongly accused of being a notorious criminal. And finally, I recommend "Revenge of Others" it's a series that is currently being broadcasted, 10 episodes are already out, it's the typical set up of a school where a murder takes place, and the sister of the deceased will seek to find the culprit among the students but they all hide secrets and their relationships, without forgetting the current events. And "My Country: New Age", I would seem that you have not yet reacted to historical series. Here, the story takes place during the foundation of the Joseon Dynasty, where two best friends have different visions for their country. The series is really more emotional, with the friendship of both hands character in the center, there is action, romance but it is mainly to tell the story (romanticized and with fictional aspects) of important events that took place in South Korea during this time. Hope this helps you choose. Ps. Thank you for reacting to Weak Hero, here it's really only the prequel, we're waiting to see if season two will be announced, for now the series is very successful so I think there will have one.

I wouldn't say it's important, to me it was like seeing Thanos for the first time in The Avengers post-credit. You only get excited about it if you read the comics. Same goes here... it wasn't really a proper introduction to the character. And not enough context to intrigue anyone to the second season (the whole show on its own has already done that). Basically just a glimpse, and showing enough characteristic for the webtoon readers to recognise. I can just see Tobi going "wait, that's it?!?". lol

Ahh man, I absolutely love Ji-Hoon he is such a sweetheart. You should definitely check out his other dramas, he is a very good actor & his music is also amazing. His voice is just beautiful. As for the final episode, the scene where he is leaving the school & yells at people is my favorite. You can see his disappointment & disgust at how the school "protects" them. They are coming after him but not even checking on the kids he has beat up in class. They sit around & do nothing until things life & death & even then, instead of trying to fix the problem, they look for a way to fill their pockets & keep the schools name out of the public eye. That scene to me was him realizing that he has no one to go to for help. Even if he wanted to get the police involved it wouldn't do any good. He can't count on the school to help Soo Ho either. When Soo Ho grandmother goes "you must be Si Eun" I was just like stop twisting my heart please 🥺 Soo Ho must have talked about him a lot to his grandma for her the know actually who he was after him only confirming that he is a friend of Soo Ho. Si Eun breaking down crying was it for me. I cried for like 30mins lol I was a mess. The fact that they didn't cut away quickly & let the hurt & sorrow build as his eyes became watery then the tension released with the background music as he cried his heart out 😭😭Beom Seok gaslighting Young Yi was so crazy to me. That poor girl is now blaming herself for something she should never even be thinking about. I can't imagine the trauma that will have on her. Making friends with an already established friend group will be so hard for her mentally now. Them using Soo Ho grandmothers pain of having her grandson in a hospital to get her to sign a contract is sick & disgusting. Beom Seok even had the nerve to play the pity card with Si Eun in the end. I wanted Si Eun to beat him, I'm not even going to lie. But again Beom Seok is a lost cause so it's useless either way. The helpless on his face after he goes back to the hospital when looking at Soo Ho still gives me goosebumps. Like you can see how sorry he feels that he couldn't even beat up Beom Seok for Soo Ho. & Don't event get me started on the dream apology scene. It was done so beautifully. I loved the lighting. The deep richness in both of their voice tones when they apologized to one another. & When Soo Ho asked if he was sleepy & Si Eun said yes ahh my poor little heart was crying for these sweet boys. The pure nature of these two makes me adore how precious true friends are. Ying & yang is only way to describe their personalities but they are also each one side of the same coin. They are so much alike but also so different. Can you tell I love this show lol I promise I will watch this show once a month for the next year at least. It's that good to me. The writing, directing, & acting are so well balanced. The pacing of the show is great. It slows down when it should & it doesn't drag for no reason. The little call backs to earlier episodes were just done amazing.

Park Jihoon definitely deserves more praise than he gets. He deserves an award for his acting. Its crazy the director didnt think this show would get this much positive attention; he did a phenomenal job. And although si eun never showed that much emotions, his eyes somehow showed everything we needed to know. The scene where he's leaving the school is my favorite scene but I definitely shedded a lot of tears than i should've. You guys should watch his other drama "At a distance Spring is green", it's an amazing show and I highly recommend to everyone! I can't wait till season 2 because this trio was just the backstory from the actual start of the drama and excited to see the adaption they'll make from the webtoon. If you want to watch more bullies getting their arses kicked after this, I recommend Uncanny Encounter. It’s 16 episodes though… but I thought the plot was quite fresh. Didn’t quite fall in to any tropes out there. Also heard it just got renewed for 2nd season! Woot!
