Here in 2023. I get what RJ is saying since the fandom is so diverse and there are young people who watch this but most Army find out early on about the BTS Universe and I think most people realize this is part of a bigger picture and the storyline goes through a lot of MVs, a couple books and webtoons, and even a game.

In the webtoon there are characters that use each member’s real name but the storyline is fictional (so not really their backstories in real life). It’s pretty cool. I would tell you a youtuber’s channel who covered the whole storyline by tying in as many details as possible from BTS’s MV’s, webtoon and books to connect the storyline together. But imma wait until you finish all the music videos first to not spoil anything. But if you want it now, or before you finish the mv’s, i can leave a link to that yt video for you all to react to it. But just know the video is like a little over an hr long. So it’s pretty like a full on movie.

But this story is a part of the BU like other ARMYs said. The storyline is actually pretty fucking sad, i hope you guys can go back and take a look as you become more familiar with their music

2022-09-13 02:53:19 +0000 UTCalso from what i’ve read the original lyrics were going to be something like i need you friend, but girl just flowed better. you’ll notice as well in the music video when all the boys are together they are happy but as soon as their alone they are really struggling mentally. thanks for reacting💜 and yes namjoons lollipop did turn into a cigarette, the ending scenes are so heartbreaking their acting skills are on another level it’s insane how multi faceted they are

2022-09-13 02:51:21 +0000 UTCfirst, this song is incredible and started to show the range bts was capable of in their music and also got them their first ever music show win which is so huge. this MV also marks the beginning of the bts universe or the BU, the lyrics of the song are always important but don’t technically describe what’s going on in this MV. this MV was just the start of a years long storyline that includes mvs, books, webtoons, short films, etc it’s super detailed and honestly hard for even me to follow but a lot of armys out there spent time putting together all the info and retelling the story for us. if y’all are interested in the BU be prepared 😭
