Working on the Rabbit expansion patterns reward - WIP 1

Hello everybunny!
As we promised, we're back to working on commissions and Patreon full of energy. We've started to work on the rabbit + cat expansion for the next pattern reward ^^

We start this expansion pack with our favourite bunny; Ruby. She has a "simple" design embroidery and pattern wise. She has a plain color, eyes and freckles, no color change, and her mouth is rather inexpressive. But this simplicity is why it's super important to make her as close to the design as possible. Otherwise she will look weird.

Maybe it's because we learned a lot when working on Sasha, but we did a first embroidery test and she turned out super cute! The thread colors aren't the ones we want to use (we bought different ones), but she still looks very good.

After sewing the head, we decided to make her ears directly because she looked weird without anything on top hahaha.

And here are pics of how she looks! We honestly are in love, we could almost leave her like this. We want to make small changes to the nose and change the eyes position. We also realised that the ears need to be a bit bigger. It's wasn't noticeable on Sasha because he had so many details, but with Ruby we saw it and we will change it towards the final pattern ^^

What do you think? We may keep this head to make ourselves a Ruby for our collection, hahaha~

Hello everybunny!
Como os prometimos, volvemos al trabajo de encargos y Patreon con mucha energía e ilusión. Hemos empezado a trabajar en la expansión de conejos+gatos de la próxima recompensa de patrones ^^

Empezamos esta expansión con nuestra conejita favorita; Rubí. Tiene un diseño "sencillo" a nivel de bordado y patrones. Es totalmente lisa, con ojos y pecas, ningún cambio de color, y su boca es bastante inexpresiva. Pero justamente por su sencillez es super importante hacerla lo más fiel posible al diseño. Si no, se verá extraña e imperfecta.

Y quizás porque hemos aprendido mucho trabajando con Ariel, pero hicimos una primera prueba de bordado y quedó super bonita! Los colores de hilo no son los finales que queremos usar (hemos comprado otros), pero aún así ya se ve súper bien en conjunto.

Después de coser la cabeza, decidimos hacerle directamente las orejas porque se veía un poco rara sin nada por arriba jajaja.

Y aquí os dejamos unas fotitos de cómo se ve! La verdad es que estamos enamoradas, casi casi que la dejaríamos como está ahora. Queremos hacerle pequeños cambios en la nariz y la posición de los ojos. También nos hemos dado cuenta que las orejas necesitan ser un pelín más grandes. En Ariel no se notaba tanto porque tenía muchos detalles, pero con Rubí lo hemos visto y lo cambiaremos en el patrón final ^^

Qué os parece a vosotres? Por nuestra parte, quizás nos quedamos esta cabeza para nosotras y así nos hacemos una Rubí entera para la colección, jejeje~
