Quickie Before Xmas

So I just thought I had better update the fine members of the Hellfire Club as to exactly what the bloody hell is going on with video etc at the moment.
I’ve written about 15,000 words on the closing part of the bomber campaign going to the end of 1944, and I still have to get to the actually critical bit of the story, 1945. This is great but also bloody useless as that’s about 2.5hrs of video and far too much. A serious edit is needed. This will take time, and I suspect if I’m honest, I may not be in a place to release a video until Christmas, for which I apologise, the upshot of that is you’ll probably get the next few in a flurry there after.
I’m also doing some shorts, these are a bit of an experiment, and I apologise if you get hit with notifications for videos that you’ve already seen, but it helps me immensely to grow the audience, which, like I’m beginning to get a bit more serious about
Talking of, I also have an actual website in the works. Honestly, not sure anyone looks at those any more, but it’ll be up before Christmas too, and I plan to add a lot of book reviews there over time and probably put up some transcripts and things….we’ll see. If anyone has anything they think I should include there, shout.
Ohh and talk of, I am planning to try and do a video on own-brand whiskey, just for shits and giggles too, probably over Christmas when they’re cheap!
That’s it for now, peace, love and jelly babies

I thought some of the shorts that were kinda clips from the video about the bomber crews were some of the better shorts I have seen! Im sure there not for everyone but +1 from me.

I regularly re watch Rex’s three hr marathons in background when I need to decompress and focus at work… Also as I said before enjoyed your whiskey reviews from past… assumed it was our duty to watch on YT as well and help the algo….

2025-11-17 20:55:29 +0000 UTCI am completely fine with 2.5 hours of content, personally. Break it into a part 1 and part2, it's not like anyone considers 1944 to be the quiet part. Spend an extra month on it and get all the chrome polished. The first and last time the human race has had 10,000-man set-piece battles in the sky is worth some detailed discussion, and you're the guy to do it.
