"Suck squeeze bang blow" is also a great analogy of the Otto 4 stroke cycle of infernal...er sorry, inTernal combustion engines. Jets are a much more elegant, dare I say bohemian, solution though. Us Aussies had the RAAF, not an RAF, born from the CFS (Central Flying School) back in 1919, then became the AFC (Australian Flying Corps) King George approved the Royal suffix to the AAF in June 1921 (I think) If I misheard or interpreted what you said incorrectly, my apologies, just ignore me or have Jenkins deposit me into the compost as fitting punishment.
