Iβm opening my shop on Sunday, March 20th at 12 PM EST (10 AM FOR PATRONS) for Mermay prints! The prints will go on sale and these sizes will be available: 4x6, 5x7, 8.5x11! π§ββοΈ

I also need your help! Iβm getting more and more inquiries asking when Iβll be opening my shop but unfortunately--as much as I'd love to, itβs just not possible for me to open it 24/7! π€§
One of my goals this year is to open it more frequently. So I will test out a few things!
Let me know which of these options is your favourite, Iβd really love to hear your thoughts and your opinions! These help me figure things out!
𧑠Option A: Themed Openings π§‘
As of right now, I will open my shop on March 20th just for Mermay. So I wonβt be selling any other prints except prints from Mermay 2021. The next shop update which will most likely happen in April will have all the other prints.
𧑠Option B: Split stores π§‘
One of the things that makes it difficult for me is the size. Right now I offer three sizes: 4x6, 5x7 and 8.5x11
Itβs a lot easier for me to manage to offer two small sizes 4x6 & 5x7. I was thinking of adding prints in a print-on-demand site which will only offer the larger sizes including 8x8 up to 24x36.
That way if you want smaller sizes, you will shop through my shop but if you want larger sizes you will shop through a print-on-demand site.
𧑠Option C: Remove large size prints π§‘
Last time, I offered only smaller prints and was able to manage it on time. I can open more frequently if I only offer these two sizes but I will no longer offer large-size prints!
These are not set in stone so Iβm open to hearing more suggestions and figuring out the best solution!
Thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it!
Love always,
Maxine

I think either option B or C are the best as I personally rarely purchase large prints. The split store would also allow you to offer more options without you having the trouble with it. Option A would be the worst for me, as I pay quite a bit of shipping because I live in Austria and definitely prefer to be able to buy all the prints I want at once. I'm more likely not to purchase prints anymore if there are only themed openings. It would be fine though if there are some general openings in addition to the themed ones.
2022-02-18 06:53:39 +0000 UTCI think the spilt store is a great option! I also know several artist who use platforms like society6 and Redbubble to offer different types of products to their fans. Also think themed openings is great! So I selected both.
