Sad news

Hello everybunny.

Today we just want to tell you that yesterday wehad to say goodbye to Niebla. Niebla was our 5 years old bunny, he was like a son to us. He always had health issues but he recovered from all of them. But at the end of November, he got an abscess in his jaw. We brought him to the vet almost daily and he went through several surgeries, but every time he got more abscesses. We managed to control them for a while, but a few weeks ago, he got an abscess on the other jaw. He started to have less energy, moving less, he started having a hard time eating and couldn't clean himself or lay down comfortably. He was strong and fought to keep going. But his state was too much. So after several conversations with the vet, she recommended to put him to sleep.

Niebla was really special for us. He arrived at our lives in a very hard moment. We still couldn't live properly with plushies, Jenni had just been kicked out by her parents and we were both deep into depression. He was like a gift from the destiny. Every day by his side has been a blessing.

Now we had to say goodbye to him, but he will always be with us. After all, we are Boira plushies, and Boira means fog in Catalan, just like Niebla is fog in Spanish. Also, Slunny, our mascot, was inspired by him ^^

We wanted to share these news with you because the last months have been really hard for us. We couldn't work as much as we wanted because we went to the vet very often, and we were emotionally down. We also needed extra money, that's why we opened those preorders and all. Now, we want to take some days off work. We want to clear our minds, clean the house and go through our mourning. We will ry to get back to work next week with renovated energies.

Hello everybunny.  

Hoy solo queríamos comentaros que ayer tuvimos que decirle adiós a Niebla. Niebla era nuestro conejo de 5 años y un hijo para nosotras. Siempre ha tenido muchas enfermedades, pero las iba superando. Pero ahora en noviembre le aparecieron unos abscesos en la mandíbula, y aunque íbamos casi diariamente a revisión y le hicimos varias operaciones, no consiguió superarlo. Se mantenía con los abscesos y  hace unas semanas le salieron en la otra mandíbula. Empezaba a tener el ánimo decaído, no moverse tanto, costarle más comer y no poder limpiarse o tumbarse. Era fuerte e intentaba seguir. Pero su estado ya era demasiado. Así que después hablar mucho con la veterinaria, nos aconsejaron dormirlo.  

Niebla fue muy especial para nosotras. Llegó a nuestra vida en un momento muy difícil, cuando aún no podíamos vivir bien de los peluches, acababan de echar a Jenni de casa y teníamos mucha depresión. Él fue como un regalo que nos mandó el destino. Y cada día a su lado ha sido una bendición.  

Ahora nos ha tocado decirle adiós, pero siempre seguirá con nosotras. Después de todo, somos Boira Plushies, y Boira significa Niebla en catalán, nuestra lengua materna. Y es que Slunny, la mascota de nuestra marca, está inspirado en él ^^  

Queríamos compartir esta noticia con vosotros porque han sido meses muy duros. No hemos podido trabajar a tope porque no parábamos de ir al veterinario y emocionalmente estábamos mal. Y también necesitábamos algo más de dinero, por ello abrimos los preorder y demás. Ahora, hemos querido tomarnos unos días de descanso del trabajo. Queremos despejarnos, limpiar un poco y pasar el duelo. Pero la semana que viene intentaremos volver con energía.
