UPDATED: While looking at last night, I realized I wasn't too happy with the vibrancy so I made some quick changes this morning, I'm much happier with how it looks now! Sometimes, quick colour adjustments and edits really make a difference!
Here's my Mermay for day 8! I wanted to do something simple since I'm feeling pretty tired today and didn't want to push myself too much! I'm finding it a lot harder to keep up than last year! I think maybe I feel pressured to keep that momentum so I'm thinking of doing some simple mermaids from time to time like the one I just did today!
I think I'm going to call it done for now but I might tweak a few things on her tomorrow! I really like her hair in the early stages so I might bring that back! 🤔
The sketch started out as peonies but I was inspired to do something more colourful since I really love the look of succulents!
