Clodsire WIP 3: Color Blocking

Hello everybunny!

We've kept working on our adorable Clodsire. This time, we've finally made the color blocking. It was quite difficult to design it and adapt the patterns. First, we wanted it to be machine sewn, not an applique. Second, we wanted the waves to be defined like the original design. It was a bit hard to make everything to fit, but after a couple of tests, here's the final result!
As always, we decided to use random colours for the test and this time we used yellow and brown. And now we can't help to think that it looks like a Clodsire flan hahaha. It's like our flan sweetwick! Maybe we could make a finished version like this, with whipped cream? Would you like us to make one to sell? ^^

Leaving that aside, we're very happy with how it looks and the fact that it didn't lose the shape. So the next step is the embroidery design! In the next post, we'll probably have the mini Clodsire finished. And then we'l be able to start adapting the patterns for the big one~

Hello everybunny!

Seguimos trabajando en nuestro adorable Clodsire. En esta ocasión, le hemos probado por fin el cambio de color. Nos ha costado bastante diseñarlo y adaptar los patrones. Lo primero, queríamos que fuera con costura a máquina, nada de aplique bordado. Después, queríamos que marcara esas ondas que tiene el diseño original. Fue algo lioso conseguir que todo encajase, pero después de un par de pruebas, aquí tenéis el resultado final!  
Decidimos usar como siempre colores random para no utilizar el color bueno. Y en esta ocasión, usamos marrón y amarillo. Y no podemos evitar pensar en que parece un clodsire de flan ajajaja. Es como nuestro sweetlitwick flan! Quizás podríamos hacer uno versión dulce con la nata montada? Os gustaría que pusiéramos uno a la venta? ^^

Dejando eso a un lado, estamos muy contentas de cómo se ve en general y que no haya perdido la forma. Así que nos disponemos rápidamente a empezar a diseñar el bordado! El próximo post seguramente tendremos al mini Clodsire terminado. Y podremos empezar a adaptar los patrones para el grande ~
