Loyalty and Gratitude: Ma Tianba kept in mind the life-saving and nurturing kindness of Old Man Xu. When Old Man Xu passed away, his grief was a genuine outpouring of his emotions. And the recognition and favor bestowed upon him by the Bull Demon King made him follow the Bull Demon King wholeheartedly. For the sake of the Bull Demon King, he painstakingly went around seeking help everywhere. Even though he encountered setbacks time and time again, he never thought of giving up. Such qualities of loyalty and gratitude were vividly embodied in this character, making it easy for players to admire him.
