Devlog #4

Hey hey, everyone!

Artist/writer here. First of all, thank you for playing CuQooTalk. We’ve received a lot of DMs from people loving the update, and we can’t express how much we appreciate your feedback.

This update was absolute madness. Going from our first release (which took three months) to this one (three times the content in just a month and a half) was insane, our time is limited since we both have jobs, and we’re constantly learning as we go. It was only possible because of YOU. AK47bunny and I upgraded some parts of our PCs, which helped speed up the process immensely.

I also wanted to address a few things about this update:

1) A lot of people confused Haeun (Sooah’s bestie) with Jiwoo (big sis) in the last video (Sooah - Malik - Haeun). It’s understandable since it’s a dark scene with cold blue lighting, which made Haeun’s skin look as pale as Jiwoo’s. Plus, the AI is really hard to control when characters are far from the camera.

2) Day 8 was supposed to be in this update, with three more scenes (Bullies vs. Malik, a Jiwoo scene, and… * :D), but of course, they didn’t make it in time.

3) The last "video" was extremely tough to make. I had to redo a lot of images due to issues with colors, positioning, etc., just a few days before release. Because of that, I feel like it ended up feeling a bit rushed IMO.

I’d like to apologize for these issues. Maybe it was my inexperience or poor planning, but I promise we’ll address these issues in the future. Right now, our main goal is to keep delivering new content with each update so you can enjoy it, then we’ll go back and polish everything to perfection.
