Fredrick, the champion of the Water

This isn't my OC, it's drawing between me and my art friend. We're making a comic together, so I wanted to get familiar drawing one of them. His name is Fredrick, he's a crocodile and the champion boxer of his home land, Oshun, aka the Water nation.

Here he performs the Dempsey Roll, a very strong boxing maneuver. Fredrick does it so fast and fluidly that dust starts kicking up from the ground wildly.

I know the name is super cheesy and low effort, but that's point. I am just trying to create a comic for fun, just to get the idea out. I've trying to draw this story since May of last year. Werehog Amy doodles

I doodled up Amy as a werehog for  good ole October fun. I think the whole werehog shtick suits Amy the most. Her gameplay in SA1 is literally the werehog style of battle action but just has Zero chasing her.

Then again I don't know what the hell Sega is doing with the side characters nowadays.

Had to fix gallery

I had many nsfw pieces set as public view and patreon has a policy that clearly says that was not allowed. So I was emailed to fix the issue before my page was suspended, so I fix a lot of the nsfw pieces to patrons only and some older pieces were still tier specific, so I fixed that too.

Pink Pantheress

Something I cooked up since I don't have access to my computer with my drawing software. I spun the wheel and it landed on "Pink Pantheress" and " Exhibitionist". I didn't want to blatantly depict the character reveal themselves to the camera because that's not how the character acts.

Also, I had the jazzy tune in my head the entire time drawing this. I want to challenge myself by shading the subject with 2 light sources. One side is Tungsten light and the other is moon light.

Working on a new style

I mapped out a style that I can express on a quicker pace, Clip Studio really helps out a lot to make this work since the pens/pencils are very customizable.

I brought this style closer to Jet Set Radio Future, my all-time favorite video game. Key features of this style would be the cel-shading, simple line work and the extra thick contour lines. I was struggling with the fingers for a bit but settled on a more blocky finish.

National Pride month 2021

I made a drawing for Pride month which happens to be my birth month, June. I chose the flag colors that correspond to the character's preferences and gender not mine. Hamburger day '21

I made a huge hamburger for International Hamburger day on May 28. I call it the Hamburger Conglomerate. It's a huge sandwich  that is 80cm diameter, 50 lbs of patties, 2 heads of lettuce, so much cheese that you can make a sculpture out of it, topped w/ avocados, tomatoes, onions eggs, bacon and pickles in between a sesame seed bun.

Then I had the idea to have Ming take on the sandwich since she's always compulsively eating. I'm really proud of that sandwich.

Lone ref sheet WIP

My boi Chardy

I found one reliable way to shade in Medibang, but I might've overdid it with the loose hatch lines. I also figured out thicker lines are better for popping off the background. Would love to get some criticism from y'all.

This piece took me 6 total hours. Most of it was spent on the shading the fur.

Gesture 1

I traced over a life model image and added some hatching to clarify the shadows. I went further the seek the structure and the rhythm of the pose.

I also pushed some buttons to find some cool edits when I placed the tracing layer over the reference.

Skeleton & Muscle study

I traced some diagrams of the skeletal and muscular systems of an average person. I also tested my knowledge of the names of the bones and turns out I forgot the femur. I proceeded to use the scaling to my advantage. I draw the skull on a different layer and measured the height and placement of the bones and repeated the same procedure with the arm. Got some handy measurements so I can just eyeball them next time.

Chardy design concepts

Here is my process of figuring out how Chardy, the protagonist, will look like not too sure if he have one design or a flexible design. I'm leaning to a more flexible design.

He was originally of a wolf species mixed with some feline, but now he's a Dire wolf mixed with feline! What's the difference? Dire wolves are a little under twice the size of modern wolves, so he's now 7'10"!

Renamon BE comic

It all started when I looked up the biggest prefix there was in math terms when I found out about the "yotta-" prefix meaning a septillion. Then I found out about memory size and found the Coperbyte, which is 2^293 (equalling 1.5914344e+88).  So I said what if some fat pair of tits were that big, scaling it from D-cups. I chose Renamon to download all that data, because she's a digimon, digital monster.

Practicing fur

I've been drawing anthropomorphic animals for years but never bothered to study fur. Decided to change that this week. I spent 7 hr on this piece over the course of a week. I was really spending time getting the flow of the fur and the contrast of the light.

Mewtwo

Did my design for Mewtwo, honestly looks identical besides the arms, neck and feet. I didn't pull up the reference until it was too late. I was more focused on form and shading control than anything else. I still loved how the piece ended up.

My Sonic design

Sonic's design is a classic one, but I think he needs a good revamp. I gave him some black accents to give some contrast. I even put some black on the inside of the gloves and the soles of the shoes to look sporty and for the viewer to tell the planes changes.

I also added some of the gold rings into his design because dude has like thousands at this point. I also added goggles because at hundreds of mph even small pebbles flying in your eyes are a huge concern. And finally, the "watch...

Redesigned my cotton candy lesser panda to an android! I really took my time with this piece, thinking about the 3d space and coloring all the way through. The pose actually took me longer to figure out for once.

My style has been radically changing these past years, but this one here is a keeper. I just got to have more control when shading and I'm good to go.
