That might possibly be the funniest twist I've ever seen in a horror movie. XD I believe James Wan set out to make an homage to horror films of the 80s. It makes sense; I couldn't take this seriously. Was this scary? No, but it was absolutely entertaining at the end and quite memorable. What a trip.

It’s definitely not the typical James Wan style, and that was the point. Not for everyone, sure. I get it. But it’s such a bizarre and unique story. He pulled it off perfectly. The aesthetic is undeniable.
