SAW - Movie Reaction

this movie was genuinely nothing like i expected

SAW - Movie Reaction

Comments

Everyone I know who saw ;) this movie (myself included) had the same reaction as you at the end. Another of my top 10.

Natas Krad

lol when I saw this movie for the first time in theaters, I legit could not handle Lawrence’s reaction and amputating (strictly the psychological effect and how NOT ok he was)…I legit had to leave the theater during that scene and missed the ending coming back in like 5 minutes later lol so it’s funny you asked how we reacted, cause I have NEVER turned away unless you’re messing with animals…but it did take MUCH reassurance and a second trip to the theater to get me to see the ending which did, of course, blow my mind.

Jessica Leigh

I live right near Ithaca you should do a meet up sometime

Torre Johnson

I hope you continue these the newest one was so good.

La Toya Sheri

Pls do the rest of the Saw series!

Faith S.

Personally I liked the second one WAAAAAAY more than the first.

dontrell Durant

Do Saw X pls and then Saw 2, tytytyty

Mac Z

When will we get saw 2

Eden

Great movie and the following are as well but you can see that the writers had to reach deep down to get the plot to connect after like the third movie. But doesn't stop them, even the new one with Chris Rock from being bad. I enjoyed the entire series. Thanks for starting on this series. Hope to see more Saw reactions as its a big franchise.

Raj Hudek

This is the tamest one as far as the gore… there’s more elaborate and gory traps as it goes on. Just fair warning 🤣

LexJordan

more SAW !!!!!

MrWheelz

The lovely thing for me about this franchise is the story that builds over time, the first one the best without a doubt but for me what kept me going and loving the movies is the creativity and development of the saw universe, in most movies at least, hopefully u can enjoy the saga

Fabricio Quisbert

Would love a franchise reaction to this series too! Your reaction when the pieces fell together in the end was my exact reaction also. So good!!

Char

There’s a new Netflix show that’s pretty good! It’s by the same people who made the Haunting of Hill House and it’s called The Fall of the House of Usher

X

If you’re down with it I’d be into the whole franchise. This movie is crazy

Allison Schleicher

please watch the resT!

carrielou

YOU DIDNT KNOW THIS WAS JAMES WAN!?

OH MY GOD I love saw so much. Just a fun fact: Leigh Whannell who plays Adam met James Wan because they went to film school together. James Wan had the idea for a movie about a serial killer who puts people in traps and Leigh Whannel wrote the characters and script, then Jigsaw and the Saw franchise were born.

cass

I'd been meaning to rewatch this as it's been sooo long since I watched it for the first time, and it was nothing like I remember! I think because I watched it for the first time when I was like 12, so it seemed much scarier/gorier to me at the time than it does now, but I enjoyed rewatching this with you so much!! I get so happy whenever I see that you've uploaded another one of these :)

imtachki

I am so glad you liked the movie!! I have watched it since I was nine or so and loved it each time. Will you watch the other Saw movies now? If so, I'd love to see your reactions to those as well!

Alex Harris

The best ones are 2,3,4 in my opinion, although they are all very good. The best thing about these movies is, not only the whole movie is good and keeps your brain thinking the whole way, but it is that EVERY questions that you ever had during the movie WILL be answered at the end of the movie. They reveal everything at the end of every movies! Which is so satisfying and why the end is always such a RUSH and is so climatic. Gives me goosebumps everytime to discover the actual plot!

alex

I've watched the entire franchise so many times, ever since i was like 10 years old or maybe even younger (i had an older brother ok) it will always be one of, if not the one, my favorite movies of all time. I think there are a few things that are quite important about Saw and it's even better when you know them (which is why re-watching is really fun) (no spoilers) - The actual Jigsaw NEVER kills his victims. - There is ALWAYS an actual way to win the game and ''escape'' He is always fair about that. What he wants is for them to appreciate being alive and change their way of living since his own life is coming to an end since he has cancer. He wants to punish people who are taking their lives for granted when he won't survive his cancer. So the whole point of his game, is for people to fight for their lives and realize that they actually want to live. Which is why there is ALWAYS a way to win the game. His goal is NOT to kill. Most important rule to know - He ALWAYS says the truth. If he tells you to do this or not do that, listen, he's giving you the rules to win the game, they are not tricks to make you lose, he's giving you valid important informations about the game for you to actually win it. You HAVE to listen to the rules.

alex

Currently watching. I’ll admit I’m not sure you’re like this series as a whole. The first is QUITE tame in the gore department in comparison to the others. This series started the “gore porn” trend of the early 2000’s. There are some fun mysteries and plot twists here and there, which can be fun. But they do often take a back seat to the gore and traps. Definitely not my favorite series, but I know a lot of people love it.

Donttouchmymilk

Please watch the whole series. This is my favourite horror/thriller franchise

Jody

Dude I thought the same things about this movie and hadn't seen it before but since you're not a gore person and you were watching it I was like "ok I will watch with you" lol the jumping back and forth was so interesting cause it's like we were also putting together a puzzle! And I kinda knew that the guy in the hospital bed was Jigsaw cause I'd seen clips of other Saw movies but I didn't expect him to be the guy on the floor! That was awesome lol we should've known though cause everything else was part of the puzzle except for him. I wanna watch the rest now! PLEASE do a franchise series 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Meghan Blust

"do i got one under my seat" lol

xyz

Leave Cary Elwes alone he was there to be hot and suffer and nothing more 😭

Callum Ringsy

I re-subscribed because of this video!! Saw is one of my all time favorite horror franchises. The first 7 movies are a contained story, and the latest one was loved by critics. While I personally recommend all of them (except 8 and 9 they kinda do their own thing tbh) at least watch 2 and 3. They're so good 😭

Callum Ringsy

I actually requested this, 😈 let the game begin

Zachthemoviefan

All are James Wan movies.

Billy Dancel

My favorite tidbit about this movie is that the killer is dubbed "Jigsaw" by the press. The doll's name is, Billy. He gets around. He's appeared in Dead Silence and in a way, the first Insidious movie. I dressed up as him one halloween and tied for second place.

Billy Dancel

I guess it's time to watch all 10 movies

Its ame mario

This is one of my favorite reactions. Just finished it. The "GAME OVER" is iconic. They also had a budget of $1M to produce it and it was shot in basically the same location. Hence the car chase scene looking so weird. They shot it in a room. Also the guy "Adam" isn't an actor persay, he was one of the writers and they decided to cast himself into it.

Joel Wattigny

I never expected this video omg

Cory

A tip for editing Caitlin, go back when they say X marks the spot and then look at the overhead shot of the body right at the start... one of my favourite hidden details haha You may have found out by now but Leigh Whannell is Specs from Insidious and helped write this and the Insidious series. He and James have worked together on another standalone horror called Dead Silence which i also think you'd enjoy. Not to mention Leigh's own two films The Invisible Man and Upgrade

Robbie Corrie

This is the original movie that ruined my childhood

Michael Beveraggi

I find the juxtaposition of Saw and the adorable strawberry shirt hilarious.

ItsWilson

I'm excited. I wasn't sure if you'd ever considered this franchise.

Joel Wattigny

The roller coaster has started

Child Of God

Please watch all of them!

Cat Rizzo

YOURE JOKING YOU ACTUALLY WATCHED IT I CANT WAIT TO WATCH THIS REACTION!! btw you NEED to watch AT LEAST the 5 first !!! they’re all soooo good, please tell me you’ll do the whole franchise🤍🤍

alex

can you react to terrifier? I know it's gory but it's a good movie. its campy in a way i guess

The Gamer's Club

The Gamer's Club

Caitlin Marie

SO EXCITED!

Spooky Casper

Hits upon hits miss Caitlin. Saw my Patreon charge go thru my bank account yesterday and knew something good was afoot.

SadStuf

I need to go to sleep but I just have to watch now

tom_j

first scream and now saw! oh we are being fed!!!

ItsIsaiahz

Oh this is going to be a fun one.

Gabe

Got off work early, so perfect timing 😌. Also I hate to be negative, but the acting by Cary Elwes near the end makes me laugh every time lol. He’s a good actor, but I think he has trouble with the American accent, so he often comes across silly in emotional scenes. Specs from Insidious is great in this though

Henri J. Mertens

Idk if you know, but these are the same people that brought us Insidious and 😭😭

Flynn-Matthew Henry

Yes! Not only the movie that cemented my love for the genre as a whole (although Scream is the first one I saw), this movie cemented my love for movies at a whole and inspired me to get into filmmaking as a whole

Robbie Corrie

I remember seeing it in the theatre when it came out, lol. Awesome! Can't wait to see your reaction! 😁😊

Adam Hendry

OMG AHHHHHH. ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST TWISTS IN HORROR HISTORY. Cant wait to see your reaction — you’ve been on fire with your selections!!

iMiller21

I know what I will be watching tonight 🍿🤓😄

ThatNorwegianGuy
