It's a bit confusing but the comments at the end are supposed to show that the stream cut off after it was admitted live that the whole thing was faked, and even though the numbers showed otherwise prior to the end, that was faked by the spirits to keep Ha-Joon greedily going. The truth about the live stream was revealed at the end.

Loved seeing Hajoon in this although his character was a jerk. I was so attached to Sung-hun at the end. Korean horror movies are just on another level to be honest, absolutely loved the concept bein a livestream/fake. I'm just a little disappointed by the end seeing the livestream ending and we didn't get to see if they hit 1 million...
