Would’ve been interesting if he sang about one Taylor song that was meaningful to him, but he had to name drop half of her discography lol But I didn’t think that song sounded too country. It’s going to be interesting when you cover Debut Taylor’s Version. I forgot your rankings, but I’m guessing debut is your least favorite?

2023-08-16 01:03:45 +0000 UTCI adore Ethel Cain but she's not for everybody and I'm really selective with who I recommend her music to. I'm happy she's getting so popular but her music's incredibly dark and definitely not as easy to listen to as Phoebe or Lana.

2023-08-15 20:15:33 +0000 UTComg you actually heard something from flowers for vases, that album is so effing underrated, hayley wrote it and performed every instrument herself at her home and most of these songs were written before songs on her first album petals for armor 2020, and this came out in 2021 without any notice apart of change of her website, we all got drenched by a bucket of ice water when this album came out and we heard it...its truly special... also this album time period is between part i and ii of petals for armor and it's about a dark period on her and taylor's relationship when they made the switch between friends to more in 2018 and the small breakup they went through between end 2018 and early 2019 (all the sadness and all of it have nothing to do with her past and the ending of her marriage in 2017, this is about her relationship with taylor, she sour beginning until they found each other for good after healing period they both went through) and have together ever since...also, petals was produced by taylor york (guitarist) and co-writen by him in a few songs and joey howard who plays bass in the live band and zac played drums on 3 songs and directed her music video (dark horse), ffv hayley did it all herself and after everything hayley has been through i couldn't be prouder of her and to be a paramore fan in 2023 they're at their happiest in every way and it gets me emotional every time... if you ever do petals for armor reaction or listen on your own, please check the lyric videos which will give hints and clues about the meanings in those same videos that you're not gonna find on the internet, the descriptions of these two albums online is so wrong so please dont read those :)

2023-08-15 19:16:47 +0000 UTCI actually think you'd like Hayley's Flowers for Vases album more than the Petals for Armor album, but maybe I just think that because it's a much sadder album lmao. You might actually enjoy some of Julien Baker's solo stuff, although it is really heavy a lot of the time. She's my personal favorite out of the boygenius group though. You should definitely check out the rest of that Niki project at some point as well!
