The thumb joint should be about 1:1:2 ratio from the fingertip, and the middle finger should be about 3 thumb tips long around the middle finger.

Compared to other auxiliary lines, I feel there is less to worry about. I felt that if I only paid attention to the proportions of the border and center line, the shape would be less prone to collapse!
