The One Direction: Where We Are concert film live from San Siro is an incredibly fun performance of this album! There are just so many bops!! It would be so fun if you did a watch party of that!

Midnight Memories was the album where they started gaining a little more control over songwriting, but they also still had writers working for them. They were also maturing their image at the time, hence the creepy sexual undertones in Little White Lies and WDWGT. I still jam to LWL, even tho it feels like Blurred Lines 2.0, but I cannot listen to WDWGT as an adult lmaooooo

yes definitely! their songs have always been better live tbh. watching her reaction and listening to these songs again brings me back to the concert i went to for WWA, it was incredible

If I’m not 100% wrong they once said that their songs are meant to be played in stadiums, sure they’re nice to listen to them but LIVE is just another another world.

i def recommend watching their concert doc, where we are!! their first stadium tour was for this album, and a lot of these songs are great stadium anthems and translate so well, if not better, live! maybe that could be a watch party here on patreon? loved your reaction!

They opened their third tour with Midnight Memories and yes, it was so amazing 😭 And as for Diana it’s like: “Lyrically, the song describes a person who appears to be famous, and who helps the narrator understand themselves better. The narrator sees themselves as a saviour for Diana. The other songwriters involved have confirmed the track is about a specific person, but would not reveal who she is.” But sometimes as a Fandom we say it’s about the Fans who don’t speak english as their first language(? 😂 That was a theory back then lmao
