As we mentioned before, Trash Taste was a project we had wanted to do for YEARS. We've all been good friends for a while, but there were loads of things stopping us. First we all wanted to be there in person, we didn't just want to do discord calls we wanted to do it in person, like we do when we actually get to hang out IRL, but of course living in different countries would make this almost impossible.
Miraculously though, All three of us managed to move to Japan we were finally able to make the dream a reality. So now that we're here, we want to keep this going for as long as possible. We've already put a lot of money into this to get this going which is fine, but really we just want to cover the running costs of this show.
If you've listened to episode 2, you should have an idea of how hard it is to find an apartment in Japan. Now finding an apartment that's ALSO soundproof so we don't get kicked out for shouting at Joey for giving School Days a 10 was even harder, and more expensive. Also we have the very talented MudanTV editing the episodes and we would like to keep everything with the high quality it is.
With your help we can continue bringing you weekly content, and who knows if it goes well you can also help push it into something even bigger. Thanks for being awesome, and hope you enjoy Trash Taste for the foreseeable future!

To make Joey happy, one of the things I decided to start doing right away was learn Japanese! I still have a long way to go, but I will keep learning and hope to visit and maybe even work in Japan one day. I first discovered Garnt's youtube channel while looking for new anime to consume, and your video on My Domestic Girlfriend sold me on your content. It could have been a completely trash anime, but what you did with it and how you just hyped it up with your words and enthusiasm was perfect. Shortly after, I found myself watch more of your content along with Joey's and some of Conner's. Y'all got my support and I have been loving the content you've made thus far.... So whats this about School Days? hahah 🙃

It also gives me the chance to watch cool anime I've never heard of (like School Days). So overall, I want to see this podcast go on for a long time yet, keep it up guys! :D
