Hey guys,
Sorry for the past few weeks for my absence. After I completed Digital Infection, the weekend (May 30-31) was spent at my grandmother’s funeral. Then several relatives stopped by the house basically all of last week so I wasn’t able to resume my work. June 6-7 was spent doing yard work with the family so there goes that week. This week, June 8-11, was spent preparing work and doing other tasks.
I was finally able to update the google doc links and send May links through messages yesterday. I want to inform everyone that these links are available to you. Say, you decide to end your support for me on Patreon and one of the comics in the google doc is not completed yet. When I do complete it and update the cloud folders, it is your right as my former supporter to still have access to that folder even if you are not currently subbed to me right now or don’t plan to in the future. You have access to the comics you supported me for the month and the tier you were in through the google doc link I sent to you in Patreon’s messenger. I set it up this way in order for you to always have access to the original comics if your original copy is somehow gone or destroyed. (I lost all my digital files once in a fire, so this is one way to prevent that issue for you guys. Yup, I had no cloud drives back then. All I had was the stuff saved on my phone. Big pooper...)
I’ve been struggling how to write this out… This has been a stressful issue because my work has been leaked onto lots of websites. It has been causing me more stress as I keep thinking about it. I can’t do anything to stop the leak. The only thing I can think of is to address this issue once and not think about it anymore because I’ve spent way too much time stressing over this.
Instead, I’ll just need to shift focus and provide more value to all my supporters. My main focus will be on completing the comics as soon as possible to deliver the content you supported me for. More voting polls will be considered that way you guys get to influence the direction of each story.
As the month of June comes by, I have 18 comics in my to do list growing each month. Digital Infection was a very interesting comic. I was able to complete it roughly in one week. Therefore, if I can capture that momentum again and ride it, I can see myself catching up with the comics that are all on hold. I would need to produce at least 4 comics or more per month to catch up. I know I haven’t been able to produce on a consistent schedule. This is something I am working towards to provide a consistent flow of content every month.
It was difficult trying to add in more characters in the story. One of my plans was to be able to fill a scene with multiple characters, but that proved to be quite difficult. (Like one scene I’ll like to do in the future is a fight scene with many characters fighting or maybe a crowded mall.) I’ll need to learn more on how to fit more characters in the scene, but for now I’ll focus on what I can do. It’s probably better to shift focus on the main characters interacting together rather than having background characters try to fill the scene.

In the example above, this was the max number of characters I was able to render on the 2080ti. I reduced the textures by half and the VRAM of the card filled up to 9GB out of the 11GB. I had another scene with all the guy characters, but the scene didn’t even fit in the card so I just rendered the girls. (I’m hoping to invest in either one RTX Titan for the 24GB VRAM to handle large scenes and have two more 2080ti for the render speed. It’ll be nice to have a Quadro RTX 8000 for the 48GB VRAM, but I can’t justify the cost of it yet. Even the RTX Titan is crazy! I’m just frustrated at the limiting 11GB VRAM.)
It surprised me that a lot of people are interested in learning Daz3D. While I’m no Daz expert, I can probably share some of my workflow on how I create my things. My focus isn’t on tutorials yet. I’ll need to think more about how to do a tutorial. But I’ll keep remember to share how I do things in the future.
I just want to thank everyone for your ongoing support whether you supported me once or many months. Your support allows me to continue making these crazy stories. I rely on your support to continue my work. This Patreon is my job. If I am not able to make a livable income, then I might have to do something else. (Perhaps I need to go sell my body on onlyfans! 😂) Jokes aside tho, I appreciate the support. I’m starting to see some growth and I can start to save up for better things much quicker. Everything I earn from this Patreon is invested back into this creative journey. I’m looking into saving up for a sit-stand desk and a dedicated workstation PC. I’ll probably save up for a PC first since that’ll directly speed up the render production. Then buy one of those fancy rise up and down desks cause my plastic desk is starting to bend in the middle.
With all of that said… I’ll be resuming work on Fusion Hungry Ch.2 right now! Finally!
