What do YOU want to see?
Added 2018-02-17 10:04:56 +0000 UTCAnother update, I'm sorry, I'll keep it quick. Been busy and a little unwell and not as productive since Christmas but in the next few days, the last two requests will be posted, and the next two pages of Rey, and Evie's first instalment. However there's a small issue with balancing workload and requests, and while I love getting them and drawing them, though they may seem scrappy, I'm close to becoming overwhelmed.
So say that sometime in the future, not this month, nor the next month, but maybe a couple of months from now, I have to put the monthly requests aside for a bit, what would you all like to see instead as a thank you for supporting me? I thought I'd ask you all rather than straight up deciding I was going to do something different instead, so comment below or message what you would like to see, as a compromise/quick change to the monthly requests, which are practically taking a whole month to fill.

From my experience with other Patreons, lotteries and votes are rarely enjoyable. With a lottery, you often end up feeling like your idea never wins. With a voting system, it's great if your ideas are popular enough to get picked, but if not, you either never get your idea done or you change it enough to get votes at the expense of your enjoyment of it. I would prefer a scheme that guarantees getting something I'm happy with. Either less frequent more complete pics (bi-monthly coloured pics), or more frequent less complete pics (monthly lineart). A decent compromise could be to sketch all the requests. Then pick a handful to line (by vote, lottery or just picking whichever strike your fancy). Then pick 1 or 2 to colour (again, by vote, lottery or artist's choice). Everyone always gets something so it avoids the pitfalls of a plain lottery/vote, and if they're unlucky, there could be an option to upgrade the previous month's pick instead of throwing in a new request
