As you all know by now, Merrique and I shoot once a month either in person or remotely (mostly remote these days since she's moved to the other side of the world). This shoot we intended to get some intimate portraits and bodyscapes with Merrique getting real small in her home space. The camera was set up maybe 4 feet from her so she was confined to a small work space. She had also bleached her hair blonde for her wedding and pretty much fried it (her words, not mine) so she couldn't dye it back to her normal color for a while. Anyway, we proceeded and I think we achieved our goal of intimate portraits and photos. The space was hard to work in, especially with getting a good frame. When she moved just a little bit, the framing was not good. With an in person shoot, you can move in or out or sideways to compensate for the model's movement. We weren't paying too much attention to the crops, since we didn't have a lot of negative space to work with. The focus was more on getting close.

Please enjoy this set with Merrique. It was an experiment that I think was mostly successful. You can see just how beautiful Merrique is. Thank you for your support. It helps me hire the best models in the business IMHO. Stay tuned for more beautiful ladies who worked with me in 2023.
