Our friend Bree contacted me and asked whether or not I would be interested in shooting with her at the end of July in Wyoming. Unfortunately, we were scheduled to be in Salt Lake City at that time. She said that she would be in SLC as well and that might work out better for the both of us. The timing was perfect as she was traveling through SLC the day of this shoot and we set a time about mid-morning to meet up and go out to the location (Stansbury Island for those of you familiar with the area). It was darn hot the day of the shoot, approaching 100* F, and we actually cut the shoot short because of the heat. Bree had an afternoon shoot in a studio and we were headed back home to Mesquite so it turned out okay. We have worked together on several occasions and always manage to get some good photos, but I have to admit this day was a challenge. The scenery was great. The model was great. The heat next to the lake was almost unbearable though. I don't know how many of you have been to the Great Salt Lake but it isn't a refreshing lake. The water temperature is warm so you can't really cool off by getting in the lake, and the salt content messes up you skin as it dries.
Like I say we spent about 3 hours at the lake and shot several hundred photos. Please enjoy this set with Bree. As always thank you for your support of my efforts. Stay tuned. I've been shooting a lot lately with models I've worked with in the past and new models as well. We've been creating some exciting content for you all.
