I'm going to try something a little different this week and post a trio of women I've worked with over the last week or so. First up is Jessica. Jessica and I last worked together over 7 years ago. She had just found out she was pregnant, and her little girl is now going on 7. She and I followed each other on social media and she commented on a photo I posted of Jill that the three of us should work together. I responded that she and I should work together and not wait for Jill (Jill comes into town sporadically). She said sure and we set this shoot up. Jessica has grown a little ink over the past seven years. Her partner is the artist. She still is lovely IMHO and a little spitfire. We had a great day out at Redstone catching up on old times and vowing not to wait another 7 years. Next up is Vivian. Vivian and I go way back together. She had just started modeling when we first shot together out at Redstone so this was a kind of a celebration of that first shoot. We were talking about that first shoot and how nervous she was about getting undressed with the possibility of people seeing her. Now it's normal for her to be naked in front of people. There were several people that walked by us here in Redstone, not close, but close enough to admire Vivian's beauty. As a hat tip to all of you aspiring photographers. Check with your federal land manager, and you'll find for the most part, that federal agencies a very tolerant of nudity on federal lands. It is perfectly legal to be nude out at Redstone which is a federally managed recreation area. That doesn't mean that you can wander around showing off your stuff, be prudent, or the laws and rules may change. Back to Vivian. Vivian is a dancer (improvisational movement) and you can see that in her physique and posing. Last up is Anoush. Anoush had been modeling for several years before we worked together, and she is just a wonderful subject to work with. She understands camera angles and what we're trying to achieve with the final product, a true art model. I absolutely love working with the woman, and we have worked together now on numerous occasions in person and remotely. She messaged me and asked if I would be interested in exploring some concepts she had in mind in a remote shoot. I agreed and we shot these and many more in natural light in her house remotely. Me in Nevada and her in Ohio. There will be a lot more from this shoot as the year goes on.
I hope you enjoy this concept of multiple models in a single posting. I know it's similar to the year in review series which I think you all enjoyed over the last few months. I didn't get many complaints. I'm finishing this week on a tour with Vivian, Kaela, and Kate in Death Valley for several days. I haven't shot models in there before so it should be fun. Stay tuned for a series featuring those three excellent models, all similar in stature.
As always thank you all for your continued support during these difficult times. I'm trying to keep my cost to you the same and am so far succeeding. Your support helps make these posts possible.
