Year In Review October

October was a little lean with our relocation to Nevada and the health issues we were dealing with.  I didn't have much time for shoots but still managed to make the best of what little time I had.  First up was a desert shoot with Dakota and Astrid.  I had originally scheduled to shoot with them for a couple of days, but had to back out and could only spend a half day with them.  Again, I think I made the most of it. Astrid, Dakota and I have worked together on numerous occasions.  Astrid is a great model and so is Dakota for that matter.  Dakota has her mind made up to get out of the art nude genre but has promised she will still do a little during her workshops.  The rest of the month was taken up with remote shoots with Elle and Arabella, Merrique, and Zoi Morgan.  Elle is a petite little thing and has given up on nude work but still will do lingerie and wardrobe.  She and Arabella modeled together for me at Arabella's home studio.  They are both great to work with, and you'll see more of them during the December year in review posts.  Arabella works to art nude when she's not working with Elle.  Merrique and I did our usual monthly remote shoot and were experimenting with red.  Red is the most difficult color for the camera to work with, as you can see.  For whatever reason, the camera has a difficult time adjusting to red.  Merrique wore her PVC corset for the shoot.  The same one she wore to the Seattle Erotic Art Festival.  She entered a couple of photos and a short film, and one of her photos won an award.  She told me she can cinch the corset down to a 20-inch waist line.  Although you can't see it very well, the corset is transparent.  And finally Zoi and I did a remote shoot while she was pregnant.  This shoot was at the end of October, so she was 7 months along at the time.  She had a healthy baby boy weighing in at 9 pounds in January. I love doing art nude pregnancy shoots.  IMHO a woman just glows when she's pregnant and the camera captures that.

Two more months of the Year In Review series.  Things really picked up during November and December.  I did quite a few Christmas themed shoots and was one of the few photographers who was shooting during the holidays.  Things usually slow down.  I'm glad you folks are enjoying my work and stay tuned for more from the lovely women who I have the privilege of working with.  I'm heading out tomorrow to shoot with a new (to me) model.  We'll see if i can't post a few of her between the usual weekly posts.  Thank you very much for your support.
