Day Off

We’re so happy to introduce you to our new boy. He is going to star in a series of pinup illustrations next year and we wanted our Patrons to get a preview first! He has a cute, sexy little story we hope to publish here in 2021. We’re also sharing his character sheet and details, so you guys will be the only ones who KNOW him almost as well as we do. This is the character sheet we use for all of our characters--a version exists for Elliot, Andreas, and Haruto too! Feel free to use this sheet for your own OCs, we actually got it from Hirohiko Araki’s book “Manga in Theory and Practice : The Craft of Creating Manga.” This is the very same character sheet he uses for all of his Jojo characters! We hope you enjoy getting to know him and seeing his illustration series next year. And without further ado...meet Adam! Please love him.

Birthdate/sign: 6/27/1990, Cancer

Race/religion: Caucasian, midwest boy raised with religion but does not currently go to church. Has fond memories of going to church with his grandma, but never bought into the doctrine. He is not conflicted nor interested in church.

Family relationships: Parents died when he was young. Close to his sister Amelia. Raised by his grandparents who were very close with his grandpa’s army buddy who the kids called “uncle.” His uncle and sister are his only surviving family.

Employment: Mechanic, owns his own garage that he purchased from his grandpa’s army buddy when he retired. He learned everything he knows about cars from his uncle.

Height/weight: 6’3” and 200

Appearance: Casual, tanktop and jeans kinda guy. Perpetual grease stains on his fingernails, rough hands. Tall, lanky, and muscular. Long auburn hair because he likes it, his sister trims it twice a year. Owns chucks, motorcycle boots, band T-shirts, leather bomber jacket he inherited from Dad and a perpetual five o’clock shadow. Showers daily but doesn’t groom daily. Brown eyes.

Left/right handed: right handed

Economic status: lower, he can support himself and doesn’t want for much so he’s got a little savings

Type of Voice: soft but deep. He tries to soften his intimidating appearance by being soft-spoken.

Pets/plants: A couple house plants in the kitchen that he got from Grandma when she passed. He often babysits his sister’s white Pomerian when she leaves town. He doesn’t keep pets around not because he dislikes them but because he doubts his ability to properly care for one. His sister’s pomeranian makes him very neurotic but he loves his “nephew” too much to say no. He treats that dog like it’s made of glass.

Medical History (physical, scars, birthmarks, tattoos): Had a car accident at seventeen and broke his arm and scarred his face. He was too poor for plastic surgery/ no insurance and didn’t want his grandparents to pay for it so the doctor just sewed his face up. Tattoo of his deceased parents' initials on his right forearm. Otherwise healthy lifestyle, actually eats the occasional salad but also likes his beer.

Education/Awards: High-school only, no college. College was too expensive and he didn’t want his grandparents to pay for anything they didn’t have to. His learning is self-led and through hands-on experience. He takes classes at the rec center occasionally (pottery, basic Spanish, drawing.) His sister went to college and when she came home and talked about her classes he would look the subjects up online and take a free video course so they’d always have something to talk about.

Formative Experience as child: His parents dying. His mom died from Ovarian cancer pretty young (no health insurance so she didn’t get her yearly pap smears) and his Dad became addicted to opioids while dealing with his grief and died a year later. Adam and his sister were raised by their grandparents. Other formative experience was his car accident at seventeen, which made him interested in proper vehicle maintenance. His grandmother caught him with cigarettes once in high school and never again, all 5-foot-nothing of her smacked the shit out of him and never raised a hand to him before or after. After having sex with a girl in high school she slipped her satin panties in his back pocket, instead of masturbating with them he went home and put them on.

Sexual history/ lovers: High school had girlfriends, a few after high school but nothing serious. Is curious about men, likes the idea of sleeping with one, but has not had the opportunity. He’s not the casual hookup type just to satisfy his curiosity. Feels comfortable in his own body and sexuality, struggles to find partners that understand his lingerie preference without fetishizing it.

People the subject looks up to/ hates?: Looks up to his grandfather and his grandfather’s army buddy who mentored him as a mechanic. Close to his grandma and hears her voice in his head all the time telling him to “clean your plate,” “take care of your sister,” “if it can be fixed fix it.” He respects his sister for finishing college and being a strong and independent woman. Not enough energy to hate anyone, and he’s been tall since high school so nobody really messed with him.

Dreams for the future: He wants his sister to be well and happy, he wants the garage to be successful and provide a service to his community. Might need to expand his business eventually but doesn’t want to put the cart before the horse. Doesn’t think much about the future, just wants to take care of his loved ones and himself so he’s not a burden to his family. The early death of his parents makes him hesitant to establish long-term plans since he knows life can change on a dime. He would like an intimate partner eventually but he’s not rushed about it and he’s not sure he can find someone who would completely love and accept him.

Fears: Losing more family, hurting people and animals smaller than himself. Keeps his queer side quiet because it’s not anyone’s business and doesn’t want the town talking about it.

Personality traits, favorite sayings, weaknesses, habits: Gentle giant personality, considerate of other people, never turns down food (very quiet and tidy garbage disposal) Has many maxims he’s learned from his grandparents and repeats to himself daily. For a weakness sometimes he doesn’t fight hard enough since he’s more of a conflict-avoider. Wakes up at the same time every day, drinks coffee and waters the kitchen plants. Motorcycle rides in the evenings, video games to unwind. Tendency to slouch to make himself seem smaller.

Current Relationships: His high school friends went to college and they lost touch. He has some online friends that he can talk with openly and play video games with. Has an online friend who shares his love of lingerie. Used chatterbate occasionally but people fetishized his lingerie too much and it turned him off and made him more fearful to open up to anyone in real life. Went on a few dates with some women in town but nothing ever came of them.

Problem relationships: All intimate relationships. Never really clicked with girlfriends and never really felt like he could expose his true self to anyone as an adult. Has never had a relationship where he could consistently and methodically explore his sexuality. All his interactions have been very surface and heterosexual. Lots of girlfriends whose parents decorated with beige.

Special skills: Very good with his hands and quick to learn any dexterous skill. Picks up on home repairs quickly, skilled mechanic. Good with artistic things like pottery and woodworking too.
