Let’s talk about one of our major releases that we’re working on right now — our very first collaboration: Ero-Card: Battle Maidens!
Until now, we’ve focused on parody and fan art games, but this is our first time working with an original IP. The Crisis Team has been incredibly kind to collaborate with us and create a bunch of amazing art for this game.

Because they want to push the project to the next level, we started working on 3D animations and learning how to integrate them into our games — opening up a lot of new possibilities for our future developments.

Since the animation quality is top-notch, this process is taking a bit longer than a usual Ero-Card project. Here’s a small sneak peek of the animation WIP they sent us:

The amazing quality of the animations motivated us to keep improving and experimenting. We’re now also testing 2D animations, integrating them more and more into our games — though this does make development times longer and more complex.

We’ve also revamped the Ero-Card system! Now there’s a new Power-Up that lets you flip the cards for a moment and peek at what’s hidden on the other side.
As you can see, the overall asset quality has improved a lot — and that’s the main reason this Ero-Card version is taking a little longer to release.
By the end of the week, we’ll have more news about the next step this month, and we’re pretty sure you’re going to love this new game idea!
