A: 2027.

• How many chapters/updates will be in the full game?

A: Approximately 40.

• Have the plot and ending already been thought out in full?

• How old are the characters?

A: Since our game world has its own lore and fantasy peoples, many characters are older than they appear. Beastfolk live twice as long as humans, but age at the same rate as humans until they hit puberty (around age 10-12, on average). Rogons live thrice as long as humans, and unlike beastfolk, they do not age at the same rate as humans when they’re children; rogons reach adulthood at age 50. These differing aging rates makes listing the ages for beastfolk and rogon characters slightly confusing, so rather than listing their actual ages, here are the human equivalents of their ages:

Lifa: 22-23

Iden: 20-21

• Will the love interests be given their own routes?

A: The love interests already have separate routes. You can learn about our plans for each girl’s route here:

• Is this game a porn game?

  A: No, we don’t consider the game a porn game. It’s a visual novel, an eroge, with a focus on the main storyline and the romantic relationships with the major characters. Sex is part of the game, but it’s not our main priority.

• What other games have you drawn inspiration from while developing the game?

  A: First and foremost: the Rance series, the Fate series, Monster Girl Quest, Majikoi, and Stardew Valley. We wanted to create something light-hearted and fun, with strong heroines and monster girls. While we haven’t been striving to make the setting totally original, serious, and overly complex, we’ve put a lot of time and effort into developing the lore and history of the world. We’ve also drawn a lot of inspiration from the Yakuza series, but that may not be apparent yet since it mainly influenced our creation of a number of interesting quests that haven’t made their appearance just yet.

  • Will it be possible to avoid romantic routes?

  A: Yes. In the game, you’ll be able to either play through the main story alone, choose to commit to a love interest (or to several, if they’re all open to that sort of thing), or choose only one-off trysts (one or two sex scenes; opportunities for this will arise during playthroughs, but not with everyone)

  • Will there be a harem?

  A: This isn’t the game’s focus, so no. We plan to implement relationship preferences for each love interest. This means that some girls will only agree to monogamous relationships, while others will be open to polygamous relationships. Even if they agree to a polygamous relationship, not every love interest will agree to group sex.

  • How many hours long is the game planned to be?

  A: The main storyline is planned to take around 50 hours to play through when finished, or maybe a little less. A full playthrough of all the routes and side quests will likely take around 100 hours or more.
