Progress Report and Update

Just letting you guys know how things are coming along. As of a moment ago I just added chapter 8 to the $5 advance chapter tier, meaning we're at 5/10 chapters of the first goal but sadly only 5/30 of the way there until I actually start posting the series on scribblehub, webnovel and royal road. Feels so far away and that sucks but at least I'm enjoying the work so far. I hope to have 9 today as well and have the editor check it, but the pace I'm moving at seems to be more or less a chapter a day plus change. I hope to speed up soon but my mood has been a little inconsistent this month and I've been averaging 2-3k words a day.

Also I want to apologize, I've been forgetting to mark these chapters as only for the $5 tier. I don't mind giving you guys the sneak peek if you've already read them but I have to be more vigilant about that. It's just that I'm used to clicking 'patrons only' instead of selecting tiers so I completely forgot that 4-7 were public until I noticed this yesterday and fixed it. If you want to keep reading them as I post them you'll have to upgrade tiers or wait for me to go public with the series which is looking like it'll be a month at the earliest, faster if I can speed up.

Lastly I did want to mention some not so great news in that my girlfriend got fired from her job- but it's not as dire as last time since she already has a job potentially lined up and an interview for another if that doesn't pan out. I'm already paying like 90% of our bills and as you might expect is the main cause of my stress that's making writing difficult, so if anyone could help me out a little extra this month that would be really appreciated.

I also don't exactly want to but I'm potentially up for doing some sketch commissions if anyone is interested. Price would vary depending on what you want but they'd need to be simple so that they don't distract too much from my writing.

Alternatively, if anyone wants to pay me to take the time to design more Clouded Soul chars that would be helpful. I still need to draw Jun and finalize how he looks, and Miao needs her main outfit that she wears post introduction arc. Those are the main ones that need doing but there are more I can always do if there's interest.

At least I'll be getting decent royalties from Amazon this month but then my next two months from them are going to be pretty grim. I know it'll take time to grow the webnovel but I'm still confident this'll pick up once we get going and hopefully getting a bigger audience will get more people to read my Amazon stuff too. We'll have to wait and see.
