Big Update

Clouded Soul has officially begun and I'm now debating on the best way to release it. Money still hasn't been great, so I'm considering retooling my Patreon a little and going with the webnovel route after all. The goal will be to write all of Clouded Soul, which will probably span anywhere from 5-7 book's worth of material, and offer advance chapters while it's ongoing. I'm unsure at what rate it should be at, but I don't think the $1 tier would get any advance chapters. Chapters would come out pretty fast under this method and I need to entice people to pay more, so $1 would be changed to access to outlines and lore and notes.

Once Clouded Soul has been completed, I will remove it from all webnovel sites it's posted on and prepare for a Kindle Unlimited release. Putting it off till later means I won't be hard pressed to spend hundreds of dollars on covers in advance as well as helping to cultivate(haha) a bigger audience before release. It also means I'll be able to release them in fairly rapid succession, which was advised to me by my writing friends. Going off the Patreon numbers and the eventual sales will show me whether it's worth continuing the saga into Clear Soul and beyond. I might make it a milestone that if we reach $1-1500k a month I'll promise to work on Clear Soul regardless, though.

Right now, I'm done with what was the first chapter but it's actually more like 3 when split apart between scene transitions. This is another reason I think webnovel sites would be a smart route, as Clouded Soul features more jumping POVs and scene transitions than any of my other works, allowing for quicker chapters. I just need to edit them, but I might hold off on posting them until I rework the Patreon and fully figure out the direction I want to take. Hope you guys can be patient with me for a bit.
