Big Update + Slight Delay

Hey everyone, just got a quick update for you all. I'm probably going to be delaying the release of volume 6 a little bit, even though work on is going very smoothly. The reason is simple, I just want a quick break to do other stuff and I set the release date a little too soon. When I set the release date, I didn't know I was going to be developing two different spinoff stories at the same time. As such, there is a lot of preproduction junk I want to get out of the way.

For Thousand Hands, most everything is done. I just have to work on a few more character bios so that we have details on everyone and I can incorporate them in the outlines I've been sending my ghostwriter friend. In case you've been wondering why I haven't posted an outline for volume one, it's because of how I've been working. Since I'm still in the middle of Coye 6, I've been writing chapter by chapter outlines and sending them to her instead of the big outlines are usually do for an entire book. I haven't felt like sharing those for obvious reasons. In other news, I have character references for Rinzer and the five girls his life. I just haven't had the time to apply colors to them. Because of the funding issues this month, I had Rajah only do black and white sketches of them thinking I would have the time to pick them out myself and then down the road I'd pay him to finish them. That's still the plan, but I haven't had the time to color and share all the new character art with you guys yet.

For the camgirl witches story I proposed, there is more that needs to be done. I need to do character bios for the protagonists and the three girls and figure out some of the core story structure things as well as write a document about how specifically the crystal ball streaming junk works lore-wise. I already know how it does, it's just something I need to write for reference's sake so that it's well documented and the rules for it are established beforehand. I also don't want to start this one on a chapter by chapter outline basis so getting some time to make a full outline would be for the best. I'm admittedly the most excited about this project at the moment because of new toy syndrome. There's a lot of fun things in there that I can't wait to play with, and I need to get that out of my system. The first character is already getting their design as we speak and the other three characters are soon to follow.

So far, juggling multiple stories with the help of ghostwriters has gone very well and I think I've proven I can handle it without Coye suffering any speed delays. Case in point, I've already been writing multiple lore document things I haven't even shared and Coye releases have been pretty much stable(there's actually a chapter I finished the other day that I haven't posted yet, I just haven't felt like editing it). The delay I want to do is solely due to timing. If I had known I would be working on planting newer seeds to grow alongside Coye, I wouldn't have set the release date so soon. Amazon is also very picky and only lets you delay a book once before they punish you. To be safe, I'm going to move it the maximum amount of days away from current release date which is thirty. I'm not expecting it to take that long, I'm merely giving myself time in case I somehow end up incredibly wrong in that assessment. The thing is Amazon will allow me to change the release date to be sooner anytime I want- so say I change it to the April 8th, I can move it back down to March 15th without penalty. Stupid, but that's Amazon for you.

So, yeah. I'm going to focus on the preproduction stuff for a week or two while continuing to do Coye in the background instead of the other way around. I'm feeling very good about the future and I'll start sharing more about these stories and upcoming characters very, very soon!
