A/N: Izuku wakes back up and starts to learn the truth behind the ancient adage ‘Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems’.
EDIT: For those who missed the edit on Chapter 1, I have decided to make Izuku’s vigilante name ‘Vigil’ instead of ‘Shroud’ so I can use ‘Shroud’ as a different identity he adopts later.

Mei needs to know everything about what happened between Izuku & All For One...because she needs to be the safety valve/emergency brake/canary in the coal mine if Izuku's victory over AFO wasn't as final as it seemed. She's known and worked with Vigil for a decade...she's the best person to know if AFO's consciousnes is still floating around inside Izuku's head somewhere. So yeah...full info dump so she can prepare contingencies...and start working on gear that compliments Vigil's newly acquired Quirks.

2026-01-02 07:24:27 +0000 UTCI'm now imagining a chapter where Izuku confesses everything to Mei and gives her the option to kill him for being too dangerous to let live in an angsty act of self loathing, only for her to breakdown in tears, confess her love to him and they have tender lovey dovey sex on the ashes of AFO. Then the POV smash cuts to Kurogiri waiting patiently in the corner for his next instructions.
